Atlanta Montessori Academy

Both of my kids thrived while attending Parklane. My son was well prepared for middle school, and my daughter is doing great in the 4th grade!

I recently transfered my son to Asa Hilliard elementary from King Springs elementary in Smyrna, Ga. That was the WORST decision I've made thus far as a parent. Since ASA Hilliard elementary is a new school they have no state rating until after this school year is up. But I QUICKLY discovered this was formally Mt.Olive elementary which was ranked 1 out of 10 in ratings. Pretty much the bottom of the barrel. And the teachers exode that energy, well I can't speak for all but my son 2nd grade teacher is a sad story. Not only is the economic struggles and zoning zip codes can easily have a negative reputation on the kids it's also sadden to know the teachers quietly have no faith in their students progress. My son is and have been on track with his education and behavior until recently. I'LL apologize to him for putting him in this school and promised to have his charter / private school entry done this summer!

As a parent, I could not be happier with Woodward Academy. Be expected for your chld to delve into a rigorous academic core curriculumn, which can be challening , yet rewarding preparing your child for college.

Where do I even begin? Our son started at DMG in August, and it is truly the best decision my husband and I could have ever made for him. The directors, office manager, guides, assistants, and cook are all wonderful people. Speaking of the cook, Chef Raisa prepares a homemade, delicious, and nutritious vegetarian meal each and every day for the children. We 100% believe that she is the reason our son is no longer a picky eater. Our son has grown by leaps and bounds academically, socially, and emotionally in such a short amount of time. This school truly cares about serving the whole child following TRUE Montessori methods. Also, the PTCA at DMG is amazing, and there are many opportunities to get involved. If you are looking for 10/10 childcare where you will feel confident and comfortable leaving your child(ren) every day, I highly recommend DMG. I can promise that you will not be disappointed in your decision to send your littles here.
