Ezequiel Aiello
Posted by a parent on 3/15/2024This is an school that I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone. The lack of professionalism, ethic, values, morals and integrity are horrible. They don't care about the students, they only care about their system.Teachers are rude, mean and disrespectful with parents and kids.If you want a school that really knows the value of education, integrity and loyalty , Do not bring your kid here.

Posted by a parent on 12/1/2023The teachers put books in your face and tell you to just write from them. The teachers are disrespectful even embarrassing students by bringing them to the front of the class and screaming at them. The principal allows the teachers to do these harsh disciplinary actions. They treat us like this to get us ready for “our job” and I’m pretty sure they think we are all going to have an office job. All jobs are different, and they are limiting students abilities, by making them sit straight and tuck their shirts in and be quiet and if your good, you pass off with no embarrassing or harsh disciplinary actions. It’s truly saddening how I’ve seen students who are very obviously misunderstood get treated like they are zoo animals. The education sucks, and the rules that they have (which they say is to keep us safe but really just don’t trust us) that are insanely strict cause students to want to go to less strict public schools. They don’t trust us, and so they impose these crazy rules and disciplinary actions on us, and expect us to trust them. It’s truly harmful to a students still forming brain. School is a place where you learn about yourself and your future, but they see it as a place you go to learn how to be good to get raises because to put it simply, that’s how they see things with their job. They follow the rules and make their boss happy and they get more money. That is such a bad mindset to portray onto students/children. I truly do not see myself graduating at this school, because if I did, I would feel like I missed out on the true high school experience. Something needs to change, and if nothing does, I will be apart of the vast majority of students that will be transferring to another public school.
Posted by a student on 9/11/2023My child has had a great experience at Franklin Academy. She's had excellent teachers that really care and her performance. The school offers great online resources for at home practice, it is even available to them over the summer. They have several events where families are invited which gives a great opportunity to meet other students, parents and faculty. Overall, my daughter loves the school!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePanther Run is an excellent school! I am the parent of two students currently there. The school staff is extremely attentive to the needs of all students and their families. Under the leadership of the new principal the school moved up to an A rated school. This year a new Dual Language program (Spanish) has commenced starting with Kindergarten and First Grade. My youngest child is in the K Dual Language class. My oldest child has been involved in the STEM Explorers which is a club for students interested in learning more about Science Technology Engineering and Math. Family events are well organized, fun, and inclusive. Some of our favorite family events are Trunk-or-Treat, Cookies & Canvas, and the Multicultural Festival. Panther Run Elementary has been named a 2022-2024 National PTA School of Excellence. I highly recommend Panther Run Elementary!Parent Review7mo ago - Sunset Lakes Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter this year VPK experience with my child, I don't recommend this school. The plan was to try it out and eventually enroll my 2 year old next school year when I go back to work, that is definitely not happening.Talking about academics, this is our experience, but my child's teacher doesn't seem to have much experience, and she is not really friendly, most of the time she looks like she doesn't want to be there. Miss Maria, who subed couple times were more friendly, my child still talks about her. Lack of communication is also a problem, a lot of times I have no idea that they have to bring a pumpkin to decorate, or a ruler because all her signs are at the door, and the door is always open to drop off and pick up. Other moms have also raised the same concern, so this is not only me. Their curriculum is vague, I only receive a letter every Friday with a brief summary of what they have done that week. When I asked the director, if this could be provided on Monday instead of Friday, so we know what to ask and talk about with our child, the response was that I could get into the classroom and look into the teacher's lesson plan. Seriously!?? A classroom we have to drop off and picck them up by the door. How am I suppose to tell the teacher, "excuse me, I need to go inside and check on your lesson plans." !??? I have no idea what or if any books are being read aloud, an extreamely important component to develop oral language and academic vocabulary for such young children. Finally, don't get fulled by the nice library or the computer lab that they barely use. This school is not worth my tax dollars or even worse the money that they charge yearly.I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because so far there were never a serious incident where my child was injured, or cried to go to school.Parent Review5y ago - American Master Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I had to describe this school with one word it would be "magical." Both of my children attend since they were Toddlers. They have developed and fostered a tremendous sense of independence while loving the environment around them. My oldest started lower elementary and is beyond thrilled. Everyday he has a different enrichment class whether it's music, P.E., or art. Both of my children love the freedom of movement and the teachers guide them towards academic excellence. Also, what my family and I value the most is the MAB community.Parent Review2y ago - A World of Knowledge Preschool and Learning Center
