Read what parents are saying about Covenant Christian SchoolThink again if your child has special needs. The teachers are great that we encountered. The administration, not so much. They need to pull it together. My son has ADHD and high functioning Autism. In March 2023 his RBT came to the classroom to help, but in Dec. 2023 the day before Christmas break they told us he can no longer have this assistance and they are unable to accommodate. That he needs an aide and they don't want to do this. Its "against school policy" which it says no where in their handbook. They knew in Oct. he was struggling and needed help, but waited til BREAK to say something. We could have taken measures prior to this, like medication for my son to see if he could focus better. We instead did find a much better alternarive and withdrew him. I don't wish bad toward the school, just for them to do better so this does not happen to another child.
Posted by a parent on 1/13/2024Academic excellence, Christian standards, love and faithfulness to God are the earmarks of Covenant. My oldest daughter graduated from Covenant 4 years ago and was accepted to UCF in Aerospace Engineering. She participated in the school’s growing activities and she independently walked onto Bay High’s soccer and cross country teams, without any assistance from us, during her time at Covenant. She loves the friends she has gained at this school! We have a 3rd grader and two 1st graders who adore their teachers and are flourishing here. They are participating in extracurricular activities provided at the school including football and piano and plan to play basketball and soccer again. This community cares for each other like a family. It’s been great having them all in one place too. God is working here. I can’t imagine them being anywhere else!
Posted by a parent on 9/25/2019Absolutely Fabulous School! CCS is the best faith based school that you can send your child to. The teachers and staff build strong character in their students.
Posted by a parent on 8/12/2018As one who has attended all the different variations of schools in Bay County, I can honestly say that CCS is the best school by far. As for the member who posted on May 10, 2007, all problems that the school has had have been disbanded by the new principal, Glenda Delmar. I expect CCS to rise to the top once again, as the school is creating a real high school next year. The staff devotes time and love to teach all thier children Christian values on a Biblical Standpoint! Go Lions!
Posted by a community member on 5/2/2013My Son just started sixth grade here from a different private school. We are new to town and we enjoy having our Son here. They staff and other parents have been exceptionally friendly and kind. Great school. I'm impressed with the class size as well as academics. Meeting with the principal was a great experience. I'm greatful to be apart of Covenant Christian School!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOakland Terrace is a hidden gem in our community. Never will you find such hard-working teachers and administration that love their students. All students are taught character ed and are expected to use those skills in the classroom and in their community.Principal Review6y ago - St. Andrew School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom day one we were greeted with positive and contagious smiles and support. At first I thought we just got extremely blessed to have Jennifer Kasztelen for kindergarten to but first grade was just as awesome with Ms. Allen. My grandchild was encouraged to be the best student and person she could be in all areas of school. From the office through the lunch room to the SRO officer she was well taken care of and safe.Parent Review4y ago - Exceptional Student Education

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy girls are heartbroken and hurt by this school and they failed them and took away their rights as learning Islam and from getting a fair education. I give them the lowest rating. I pray that they learn the true meaning of Islam. Love..that’s what Islam is!! Not division or hate. You don’t need to qualify to be part of a loving group. Every race and color can be love. Disappointed beyond wordsParent Review3y ago - Saint John Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately, due to the change of leadership of this school, the school which we were so thankful to be a part of has greatly declined. The removal of Spanish class replaced with Latin was disappointing. I understand how Latin can be an interesting study in the root & history of languages, but to be an a relevant part in our current society, Spanish should be prioritized. The curriculum that includes 14 subjects and overwhelms both the teachers and students with a focus on fact-spouting rather than learning. Many students that were A/B honor role last year are now struggling. We will not be returning next year.Parent Review1y ago - Bacot Academy
