West Dade Academy

I’m writing this review with the intent of providing honest feedback in the hopes that it encourages improvement. While the school may have potential in certain areas, my experience with the front office administration has been deeply disappointing.Unfortunately, the people skills displayed by some of the administrative staff have made communication and basic interactions far more difficult than they should be. Professionalism, courtesy, and a welcoming attitude are essential especially in a school environment where families and students should feel supported and respected. Sadly, these qualities have been lacking.I sincerely hope that leadership takes steps to improve front office training and culture. A warm and respectful first impression goes a long way, and a school’s front office should reflect the values and integrity of the entire institution.It’s unfortunate that I feel the need to write this, but I hope it serves as constructive feedback. Our experience with Olympia Elementary’s front office has been extremely disappointing. The staff has consistently come across as rude, dismissive, and more focused on discussing their next vacation than addressing real concerns from parents.As a parent, it’s disheartening to be met with such indifference when trying to resolve an issue affecting my child. Communication should be helpful, solutions-focused, and respectful none of which we experienced during our time here.For these reasons, we’ve made the decision to remove our child from Olympia Elementary. We truly hope the school takes a closer look at the tone and professionalism being set by those who are often the first point of contact for families.

My son was attending at this school last year. And my appreciation is that they have good teachers, the after school team is very good and the director Marta Garcia is very involved in the daily activities, she knows the children and their parents. In our case we had no activities at school with the children and no contact with the PTA, I would have liked to meet the community

LOVE this school, administration, security guards and especially the teachers. My son is in the ESE program and has progressed SO MUCH in one year and a half. But i saw the progression in a few months after his start date, very grateful for this school. I love the support, commuication, and care the teachers and staff have towards my child and us (the parents), including on zoom calls. I couldnt be happier with this school.

Our family loves this school. Not only do the children grow up happy, learning to love God, but they are also trained in sports. Coach T has brought a Christ-based teaching method that leads them to always give glory to God in everything they do. Thank you, Gladeview. Thank you, Coach T.

As parents of Oliver and Brandon Delgado, we cannot say enough wonderful things about Highpoint Academy, especially after the incredible Christmas show.The performance was absolutely beautiful and incredibly well organized. It was clear how much dedication, love, and hard work the teachers and staff put into preparing the children. Seeing Oliver and Brandon on stage, confident, joyful, and proud, was truly heart-warming. The show reflected not only creativity and talent, but also the strong values, teamwork, and encouragement that Highpoint Academy instills in its students.Beyond the performance itself, what stands out most is the school’s commitment to nurturing each child as an individual—academically, emotionally, and socially. The teachers genuinely care, and it shows in how the children grow in confidence and character.
