7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible school. My daughter first started here in second grade, and had a bad exp with kids bullying and teacher showing favoritism. One example was, one day my daughter had a Purple owl pencil grip, and one of the boys that always bothered her took it. She was asking for it back, and the teacher came and yelled at her for “disrupting the class” and took the grip away. When I messaged her that afternoon (after my daughter came home upset, yet again) she said “they both said it was theirs and I didn’t know who to believe, But Now after thinking about it, it Is a purple owl, so I guess it’s girly” she said she’d give it back, but never did. We spoke a couple times after that about the same kid and a few others, but nothing was done. My daughter got fed up one day, and told him she was going to smack him, and I get called to the office for a meeting with the Principle, Councelor and Teacher because she “threatened” him. There the teacher defends the boy saying he’s a good kid and she hasn’t moved my daughter to another table because she feels that the kids at her table are the best behaved. Nothing was done to the boy, and my child got a warning. The pandemic came, and she did the next 2 years online. I gave the school another chance for her 5th grade yr and she was bullied all year. I spoke to both teachers several times and was told they would handle it, but again nothing was done. She was ganged up on in the bathroom and knocked down, and I get a call to go see the counselor and was told my daughter was cursing and trying to start a fight. Mind you, all these girls were friends for years, and my daughter was the new girl, so obviously they had each others back, but because they all had the same story, they believed them, and again my daughter was the problem. This time, I didn’t let it go. I made sure the counselor spoke to them again and one of them broke down and told the truth. They ganged up on my kid. But guess what? Nothing was done. At the end of the year, I picked her up in loop, and asked how her day was, like I do everyday, but she was silent. I look back and she broke down. One of the boys called her the B word. My oldest daughter jumped out the car in loop to talk to the principle, and guess what? All the complaints I gave all year and the incident where she was ganged up on, and the principle was never told. When my daughter defended herself I get a meeting with the Principle and Counselor, but everything they did to my kid and nothing.Parent Review1mo ago - North Twin Lakes Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSomeone reminded me PLE when it came to my mind to review this place. It’s very important to evaluate things accurately. Most of the time Human Qualities make a place Successful or Not. It’s a Shame to Rate it too low because there are always some exceptions, but the Solo Star above Say it All.Parent Review7mo ago - Kids Playhouse Child Care Center

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey also make you do bake sales which doesn't go to your class. It all goes to the school. And they make you sell a box of 50 chocolates if you play sports. And if you play 2 sports you get 2 boxes. You must sell them. Also, since some girls from 8th and 7th grade would wear the school pants they made all the girls wear loose pants. So loose you cant even tell you have a butt or thighs. it's like you're wearing baggy clothes. Also, you cant be late to school 4 times in a month or else you'll get detention. And if you get to school after 8 and you're in 7th and up you're considered absent for you first class. They find their teachers on craigslist like isn't that bad ? and if you're a senior, to do any type of senior activities you have to raise your own money. and you have to give them the money. they put it on their schools card. It's like they're taking credit for what you raise. And they won't even give you the money back so if you have leftover they'll keep it or even if you decide not to do anything you will not get it back. this is school is only good for the math subject if you're getting taught by the principle.Student Review9y ago
