St Joseph High School

I have two students who attend St. Joes and our family LOVES this school. I have seen an amazing transformation in my son who is now a junior as he prepares to start the college process. And my daughter - who knew no one coming into the school - has made so many great friends and has even joined mulitple clubs and a sports team. St. Joes' community is second to none and we are so glad we made the choice to send our children here.

I recently graduated St. Joes as the Class of 2023. After being asked to put out positive reviews on several sites by administration, I ask myself, “what would I rate it?” Honestly, I rate this school a one out of five stars. The one star is for the teachers who work endlessly trying to give students their moneys worth with little support (minus the unstable math department). The administration is non-existent who only come out for show. The Dean of Students (male) actively targets students (especially girls), The principal (women) and president (male) rarely comes out of their office, and I have no comment on the new principal (male) because he just started. The St. Joes community dealt with a terrible tragedy caused by their student and they did not show up for their students. However, they showed up for the media aspect. All this school cares about is their athletics and they give special attention to student-athletes. When coming to this school parents are looking to give their child a catholic education, but the morals of this school and administration display the complete opposite. Now looking back, if I could of warned myself from all of the terrible experiences and morals that this school actively sets, I would not have chosen to spend the money. Honestly, it is not worth the money education wise and just the way the school looks. There is no A.C. in the academic wings and there is mold all around the school. Basically, the school is falling apart. In conclusion, I am yelling at you through my phone screen whoever is reading this… SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

SJHS is an exemplary institution. Everyone cares deeply about the success of students.

St. Joes is a wonderful school filled with people who care. Teachers are willing to work with their students during and outside of scheduled hours, the guidance counselors help students towards their futures, and the staff work tirelessly to make the campus look absolutely beautiful. As an alumni, I was more than prepared for college after graduation. Currently, I am working on my Ph.D. and I credit SJ for teaching me the skills that allowed me to come this far! I always look forward to "Coming Home to Joe"!

My son will be a sophomore this year and I can't speak highly enough of this great school! He didn't know anyone when he started and now he has this great group of core friends that he's found! The clubs are fantastic, the kids are so smart. I love this school!
