Posted by a teacher on 2/5/2024With two kids in the 1/2 day program, my husband and I both agree, this school is a Godsend. Amazing teachers and the best administrative staff I've ever seen. As Principal, Mr. Osteroff is so engaged with the kids every day, in the hallways and classrooms, at every presentation and event, even at Prom. The kids are aware of his interest in their lives and it makes all the difference in the world. I can't say enough good things about GHAA; we feel incredibly fortunate to have this program available for our kids.!

Once we enrolled him in the 1/2 day program here, his level of engagement skyrocketed. The teachers area all working professionals in their respective fields and they provide the students with real expertise grounded in real life. Love this school!

When other schools thought he had ADHD this school focus on him and realized he was just bored and needed to be challenged. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm not sure what the school was like 5 years ago (2017) as the "awful" review for children with learning disabilities stated, but I can tell you that in 2021 and 2022 things have been fantastic! My daughter is almost severe ADHD, and so far having the breakup in the day with all the wonderful "performing art" experiences - especially dance and vocal - has helped tremendously! She is actually excited about learning Math! They seem to balance scholastics and "The Arts" very well. We have 3 kids and have been to 2 other magnet schools; her brothers are in magnet middle and high school.
