Read what parents are saying about Campus Middle SchoolHave had a TERRIBLE experience at this school. Bullying behavior is truly out of control. Student culture is really sad.
Posted by a parent on 2/20/2024My daughter is in all Honors classes and I am very pleased with the teaching and learning at Campus. She likes all her teachers, she is happy to go to school every day and she made a lot of new friends this year. She gets just the right amount of homework. There are plenty of after hours activities and my daughter likes the theatre. They have a couple of after school Math Clubs, although I think that Math Counts should be taught by the teacher, not by high schoolers. It's one thing to be good at Math and another thing to have the skills to teach it to others. I wish they organized Math Kangaroo at this school, like Challenge school does. I also wish they would make a foreign language mandatory through middle school. Currently it is just optional. My daughter has not experienced any bullying or drama, but again, she is in classes with the smartest kids, who are preoccupied with learning, same as her. My daughter did say that she occasionally heard or saw other kids from other classes misbehaving, for example destroying school property. My advice for other parents is to make sure that you educate your own kids and that you know what they are up to and who their friends are. Don't expect the teachers to be the primary educators for your children. You are ! You can't control what other kids are doing, but you (hopefully !) can control what yours is doing.
Posted by a parent on 4/20/2023this school is horrible! the teachers don’t care for the kids and don’t do anything about bullies! the kids at this school are very disrespectful and have NO manors! what is wrong with these teachers and students?! not to mention the councilors are very rude and don’t know how to listen even though it’s their job!!! DONT send your kids to this school!!!! the food is terrible too, it’s like the cheese on food is thicker than the meat on a burger!! DISGRACEFULLY THIS SCHOOL IS BAD!!!
Posted by a parent on 2/25/2023terrible students teachers are fine nothing to help later in life.
Posted by a parent on 11/29/2022This school year was horrifying. The bullying was absurd with a mere slap on the wrist to the perpetrators. My child was harassed, stalked and physically assaulted unprovoked multiple times. This school is more concerned with the politics than actually doing their job to keep these kids safe. These specific bullies got away with 2-3 physical assaults on kids that I know of, I’m sure there are other incidents. They were suspended a few days and back at terrorizing students upon return. The quality of education is subpar but that’s on the Tabor Law.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are pulling our children from this school based on several safety issues experienced in the first weeks of the 2023 school year. Administration here is either unable or unwilling to help, and we don’t feel safe sending our children here any longer.I can’t help but think they’d benefit from focusing more on discipline, safety and supporting troubled students, and less on DEI.Sadly this seems to be a trend at CO public schools. Trouble makers are coddled and good kids are sacrificed.Parent Review5mo ago - Cottonwood Creek Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have three children at Cottonwood and have had only positive experiences during our time there. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. The principal strives to know every child's name and make a connection with the families. Positive behavior is highlighted daily and monthly, making the students work to be better citizens in their community. My children are excited to go to school and have positive feedback about their learning. The learning is rigorous and engaging. I also appreciate how involved the community is in supporting the school. Parents are invested in their children's learning and help support the school through activities and volunteering opportunities.Parent Review1mo ago - Greenwood Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wouldn’t recommend this school, if you don’t want your children coming scratched and bruised up daily; don’t enroll. School teachers, school principal, school staff does nothing about this behavior! Had a bad experience at this school with my child coming to school everyday to defend themselves instead of learning! I would never get contacted by the school when my child would be attacked by another student!(one day my child had blood on clothing, due to an altercation with two other students, my child had to change and I wasn’t contacted by Teacher, nurse or principal) Not acceptable; school teachers/ staff isn’t watching children thoroughly, along with not contacting parents when it comes to physical altercations/ children being harmed! Staff could have done better addressing situations like this in the school! Please pay close attention to your child and always ask them questions about their teachers and peers when sending them off to learn.Parent Review2mo ago - Southmoor Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school thrives in making difference for all students through its vision - diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment. The school leader works hand in a hand with all stakeholders to support the success of every students. The teachers work hard to deliver high quality learning that engages the students in joyful learning experiences. The students receive various support for both academic and social emotional learning. The families are supportive of the school and teachers. There is a true sense of community in this school.Other Review5mo ago - Primrose School Of Centennial
