Read what parents are saying about Denver Waldorf SchoolThis is an incredible school. The philosophy and curriculum really help develop the whole child in thinking, feeling and acting. I feel that ingenuity, collaboration, and developing new ways of finding solutions are becoming more critical to success than ever before and the Denver Waldorf school provides that to my kids.
Posted by a parent on 3/3/2020Excellent! We love this school. We love that it offers music and art as part of the curriculum. The academics are steong with the plus being that kids are exposed to woodworking and eurythmy as part of the daily lessons. Amazing experience.
Posted by a parent on 6/28/2018Good Experience...Each school has issues and problems, however not each school is willing to learn, grow and attempt to make their school better for their students.
Posted by a parent on 6/28/2018Neutral seems to be the message, but that's not really fair. I want to strongly disagree with some of our experience and strongly agree with others. It seems like if the teacher or employee is good at what they do, then it works, but if anyone is struggling--teacher, student, parent, administrator, there isn't a way to get passed that. You'd think some things about how to run a school would be automatically in place for a school this old, but it doesn't happen here. It's sad because there are some real gems--the philosophy behind the education seems intriguing (and slightly hidden, can't figure out if they don't know what they're talking about or they just don't know how to tell me what they're talking about) and some of the teachers my kids have had should be awarded teacher of the year. But some of our other experiences have been so awful I can't believe these folks haven't lost their accreditation. Definitely some very happy families at the school, and some very unhappy ones.
Posted by a parent on 4/26/2018This is one of the worst schools you could attend. The teachers are confusing and mean, they show very clear favoritism of certain students and the academics are awful in 10th grade I was learning 7th grade math.

I have witnessed her getting loud with one of the male paras in the hallway. I saw this picking up my little brother from school. I consider this unprofessional and very disturbing behavior to treat colleagues like this. Next year i will be suggesting to pull my brother out because of this para. This is not how you treat fellow employees!Other Review11mo ago - Schmitt Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recently graduated from Ricks, I was there k-8 (11 years). While I have made lifelong friendships and have genuinely enjoyed my time there, I would not recommend this school to anyone. The academics have been subpar, setting me behind in my highschool experience. Ricks is a school that claims to be kid oriented and have gifted programs, but it is far from. Many of the administrators have no control over the school, and there are little to no “gifted” programs. I have seen some of the smartest students fail because of the lack of focus on students. I highly recommend asking about the teacher turnover, as there have only been a few teachers there for more than 3 years. Their staff is severely underappreciated and as more teachers quit, they are replaced by worse and worse teachers. If you are considering going here, I highly recommend reaching out to current parents of kids who go there. It is likely you will begin to see the never ending amount of problems at this school. As a person with a learning disability I feel my needs were not met and I was not accommodated to the full extent I should have been. As for mental health, this school had no clue what they were doing. In my time at middle school we would occasionally be called for an ”assembly” which consisted of a presentation on mental health and how to reach out if you needed help. I do not know anyone who used the tools they offered us. The presentations were ineffective, and on top of that, my friends and I had no trust in the school psychologist. In my experience, many of the teachers were amazing, they were our true friends and advocates. I loved each one of my teachers, but since I have left, all of them have either quit or plan to in the next few years. The only thing that kept me at this school was the teachers, who are truly superheroes. If you are looking into this school for your child, ask questions. Ask about what admin controls, why there are such small classes, why teachers keep quitting, what their gifted programs are, and how they plan to create a well rounded student.Other Review11mo ago - St Vincent De Paul School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe absolutely love SAES! Both of our kids began in kindergarten and for each of them it has been a wonderful experience. One of our favorite parts of the school is that each child is met with respect and encouraged to build their autonomy in a nurturing and supportive environment. The school is academically rigorous while also maintaining focus on social and emotional learning and development. We are so happy with and grateful for such a wonderful school and community environment!Parent Review2y ago - Monument Charter Academy
