If your child doesn’t have a popular name or isn’t one of the quote in quote smart kids who take tests and make the school money..... you are put in special Ed classes and forgotten about.....

My opinion is not necessarily of this school but currently of the administration and school board. I have witnessed that staffs opinions are not heard or taken into account. Despite surveys given to staff pertaining to school year calender and situations involving students, they are mostly over ridden by administration. Hiring seems to be not what you know but who you know. Much disarray in the district.

Excellent elementary school. Highly recommend! If you’re new to the area, do your research. We have had a fantastic experience here!

We have been part of this school for 13 years. We have gained a lot of relationships with staff as well as done a lot of volunteering. I have personally seen this school go substantially downhill. I worry that with the current principal, the school will eventually close. Teachers are leaving to find other jobs. Parents are taking their children out to find a better school. It’s disappointing and sad to see how much it has changed for the worse. I have expressed my concerns with the school district and I hope it is taken seriously. It’s a very unfortunate situation. It’s a sad environment and just so very different. Overall, I am giving it a 2. Only because it wasn’t always so terrible and I am hopeful something will change. I would have to say it is a current 1. I would never currently send my children here or recommend it to anyone.

I can't imagine having my kids go anywhere else! Learning from real life experiences and hands on, has given my children the tools to succeed.

Regarding the previous post, doesn't one have be judgmental, legalistic and ungrateful to even make such a comment? Sound like a personal vendetta to me. This is a small school with a hugh heart. The student is viewed as a soul created by God for His eternal purposes. The teachers ARE qualified, evidenced by my daughter's scoring 3-4 years above grade level on her last 10 SAT tests. A warm, secure environment. Quiet, controlled environment conducive to learning. They use the tried and true A Beka curriculum. This staff, at great sacrifice, give of themselves in the teaching of these children every day. This is a wonderful school!!!
