Read what parents are saying about St. Francis Of AssisiThis school is the living example of Nepotism and abuse of power. As soon as the Principal took office she began hiring her family and friends. It seems that the only requirement a person needs to work in this school is to be friends with the administrator. They are constantly asking for money and donation. where’s all our money going? The principal has refused multiple times to have an assembly face to face with parents. The meetings are only through zoom. What is she afraid of? And the exodus of teachers and faculty continues. All the good teachers with outstanding credentials no longer work for this school. The current management has brought teachers from retirement and newbie's with either unrecognized credentials or nil experience and some moms playing to be teachers. There is a very high faculty turnover. Our children's teachers are quitting school in the middle the school year; resigning because they do not want to be subjected to the orders that are inconsistent with basic educational guidelines or are being dismissed for undue causes without due process.Dissatisfaction with this administration has been manifested with many complaints.
Posted by a community member on 2/19/2024We are so dissatisfied with this school. The funds are not being used to hire qualified teachers, quite the opposite, they are intended to pay the salaries for those unnecessary positions that were purposely created for the mere benefit of management friends and family.Administrators are very rude, and many instructors lack the passion that any teacher should display and many make decisions that are against the mission of any education center. They are simply not qualified nor trained to perform their roles as educators. As a result, the school has a chaotic system with no structure, unable to help its students, our children, achieve any goal in life. Work relationships are unsustainable thanks to the toxic environment created by the administrators. They tell its members who can be greeted and who can't. They pressure to isolate specific people, colleagues, families, students. The school does nothing against bullying and many families have withdrawn their children from this school because they are tired of the lack of action and the injustice that leads student's everyday lives. Misconduct and lack of respect for others seems to be the lifestyle to follow. It appears that many of their decisions are based on a student's race and wealth.
Posted by a community member on 11/7/2023This administration needs to be replaced immediately. One of the students of this school made a threat about shooting everyone at school. The threatened act was to occur on school grounds or school property. The school administrators were informed and they chose not to do anything. The school did not comply with protocols of safety. (Even though they have drills about shooting) During those days The students, our children continued playing in open areas, recesses, PE, going up and down the hills. Being exposed to a potential tragedy. The Principal sent an email to the families to inform about this threats days after the incident.Immediate actions should have been taken. An immediate change should be made. The faith and safety of our loved ones are being managed by a total acephalous system.
Posted by a community member on 10/30/2023So disappointing! During the pandemic this school opened its doors and the COVID protocols were not complied with as indicated, everyone got sick but the cases were not reported in their entirety. The teaching program during the pandemic was a total failure and was reflected in the academic levels of the students who until today have a gap and the school has not wanted to do anything to level that gap in the academic level. The bullying here is so out of hand and swept under the rug. You can report it to the staff till you're blue in the face and they will not address a thing.
Posted by a parent on 9/20/2023Our family has been a member of the St. Francis community for 8 years now and we could not be happier with the school not to mention the beautiful campus our children are blessed to be at every day. St. Francis is rooted in faith above all things but at the same time promotes an academically challenging environment. Our national testing results show that our students are scoring amongst the top in the nation after the Covid shutdowns. When all the other schools were closed our doors remained open. Even more importantly however, our students are growing in their faith through St. Francis’ Christian Service Projects, regular practice of the sacraments, study of scripture, daily prayer and their unapologetically Catholic Foundation. Our teachers are so kind and are there because they believe in the mission of Catholic education. Our school community is very close knit and welcoming with the many community building events that we have…it feels like we have gained a second family. If you want a school that excels in math, the sciences, Language Arts, robotics, literature, technology, etc. but teaches all of this with God as the foundation, this is a great fit.

Our son has been attending Anaheim Hills Montessori school for 2 years. My husband and I both work and wanted to find a place where our son would be comfortable, learn, socialize, and be cared for while we could not be with them. That is what we have found in Anaheim Hills Montessori. Over the years we've experienced wonderful Christmas programs, elaborate art projects, creative open house themes, Halloween Trick O treats, Thanks giving Party, Field Trips, Parents Day Event and the ultimate success of seeing our child thrive. The class environments are clean, playful and instructional, and the outdoor play area is safe for children to run around, Swings and slide and climb. We LOVE everything about Anaheim hills Montessori!!! The teachers are very nice, welcoming, nurturing and kids always learn somethong new on daily basis. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I consider myself fortunate to have had my child attend Hillsborough Private School for the past three years. I can honestly say that the overall experience has been quite gratifying. Hillsborough Private School is distinguished as a reputable educational institution, known for providing a strong academic foundation in a supportive community. While there are areas that could be improved, particularly in terms of extracurricular options, diversity, and affordability, it still stands as a commendable choice for my child's education. I wholeheartedly recommend this institution to parents seeking a challenging academic curriculum and a nurturing community for their children.Other Review3mo ago
