Posted by a parent on 12/18/2017I am so glad my child is able to form part of this school. The expectations are high but with the help and support from the educators I know my child will succeed. Thank you teachers and staff.
Posted by a parent on 6/1/2016I am glad my son is at this school. He has been given tools to succeed in life and for his education. Dr. Apps and the staff really care about the kids and there future. My son is has a wide perspective of what requirements are necessary to succeed in higher education.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are great my kids went there for 4th and 5th. Couple of the the 5th grade teachers are really extraordinary talented. I loved the parent communication by the teachers. There are 4 counselors there. My daughter and son got a lot of emotional support.Parent Review1mo ago - Wilson Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWilson provides a caring environment where each child's education is taken seriously. The expectations are high and each child is encouraged to do their best. Like any public institution, sometimes the process of qualifying students for extra help takes longer than we would like, but small groups and interventions are put in place meanwhile. The staff gets along well and works together to help the student population. There is a one star review mentioning a principal that is long gone. The current principal is caring and puts each child's best interests first. The school rules are be safe, respectful, and responsible. The PBIS program provides detailed steps for how this works at each level. Routine assemblies reward children for behavioral and academic objectives met. There is also a priority put on rewarding students who may be behind but are making progress. The office staff is caring and competent. The biggest compliment I can give is that I would feel comfortable if my own child was going to this school.Teacher Review1y ago - Lydia Romero-Cruz Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school discriminates against kids with disabilities and makes them out to be dangerous. My child has not yet been diagnosed due to the long waiting list since covid started and that gave this school an excuse to do the bare minimum for him in trying to communicate with him. First he was bullied and then after teachers wouldn’t pay attention he started defending himself. Once this started happening even the vice principal would call and state “he’s holding our kids hostage and we are scared for our life’s” during one recent phone call. In what type of world is it okay to make a 5 year old out to be a school shooter?? And then to clean their hands.. they make you out to be the bad parent. This school is not equipped with the capability of teaching kids. They need to do better. Not for the parents sake. For the kids sake.Parent Review2y ago
