Transfiguration School is a hidden gem. I truly appreciate the dedication and commitment of the school principal and staff. The school and church community are very supportive and have a family-like atmosphere. The school communicates with parents often by sending a weekly newsletter and both of my children's teachers use apps to communicate with parents frequently. When I drop off my children, I have a sense of relief because I know that they are safe and in the hands of adults that genuinely care about them. Academically I am pleased with the curriculum and integration of technology, each student has access to their own iPad or chrome book. Most classes are small ranging from 15-20 students and have one teacher per classroom. The school also offers PE, art, dance and music weekly. Overall, Transfiguration is a perfect fit for the needs of my children and family, we definitely plan to return next year. I know that everyone's experience is different and many parents have a different perspective. However, this platform is intended to share your experience not bash or tarnish a school's reputation.

From the moment we joined the Transfiguration community, it was evident that the school places a strong emphasis on instilling Catholic values in its students. The integration of faith into daily activities and teachings has been a source of comfort for our family, aligning seamlessly with our religious beliefs.Academically, it has exceeded our expectations. The curriculum is robust, challenging, and designed to foster not only intellectual growth but also emotional development. The school's commitment to academic excellence is apparent, and our child has thrived in this stimulating environment. What truly sets Transfiguration apart is its unwavering dedication to social-emotional well-being. The school has implemented impressive programs and initiatives that focus on developing students' emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and overall well-being. We have seen firsthand the positive impact of these efforts on our child's confidence and interpersonal skills.

My child went here from prek-8th grade. I watched the school slowly go down hill…If your school is into sports don’t send them there once a school known for good sports team they have none. No cheer no basketball no football. They had a track team last year and it was a mess. The male coach is rude. They had an amazing dance and music program and lost both teachers the Christmas shows or horrible the kids use to enjoy them now their forced to do african dance because its a free program. You pay all this money and its low budget the harvest fest use to have rides and games no longer.lunches terrible athletic field day terrible they charge us for our kids to be in smaller classes sizes thats about it. Oh your tuition covers nothing they want you donate and fundraise but wheres is the money going classes dont have a/c so you may get a call during a heat wave to pick up your kids. Honestly they need a new principle.

This year makes 7 years with Transfiguration. I am definitely satisfied with the education and my child meets all nationwide guidelines each year. I do sometimes have concerns that the uniformity of the catholic school curriculum doesn't allow for the teachers to attend to specialized needs, however, if you are actively parenting and involved with your child's daily progress, I believe your child can succeed. During one year, I had to communicate weekly with the teacher and principal to make sure my child stayed on task. The staff generally are qualified and care about the children. I've had only one issue with a teacher whom I believed lacked the necessary experience. The school is small and safe and really embraces christian values. The children are taught respect, self-love, and community. I plan on my child attending through 8th grade. Some of these reviews are unnecessarily harsh because I promise you there is no way that I would keep my child in a place that allows the teachers to be rude, mean, and yell and blah blah. Everyone has different teaching styles but the point is, are they learning and thriving? And I would say from what I have seen over the last 7 years, YES they are!
