The Help Group's North Hills Prep

Never in my life have I thought I would have to write a review like this. I've seen and been treated worse than any other school I've been to. Please I beg of you, if you don't send your struggling children here. No matter how much the staff advertises constant staff support and therapists on site, the truth is they are severely understaffed and do not have nearly as much student support as they should. A majority of the students in this school have problems with (violent or dangerous) behavior, drugs, gangs, and bullying. I have had countless problems with students making racist, colorist, and every other -ist and -phobic comments towards me and other students IN FRONT OF TEACHERS. I've reported it every time, and they've only come close to something ONCE. I was there for YEARS, and even though i was one of the more "well behaved" students, they still treated me like a caged animal. When it comes to their advertisement, mot of it is false. There are no extra-curriculars, no clubs, therapists are hardly ever available, and there usually aren't even enough staff to take students to the bathroom. The staff constantly overstep their boundaries with students in ways that could be considered abhorrent to most. Commenting on students bodies, what students are eating (as in to shame them) , "joking" about student's disabilities and self-harm scars. It genuinley disgusts me how they say they want to help students but then treat us like objects.
