Read what parents are saying about Campbell School of InnovationI was a bit surprised to see that this school only has a 4.3 star rating. My husband (who is a teacher) and I have been very impressed with CSI and the staff. It’s a safe, fun and excellent community and we would highly recommend it to families. Both of our kiddos have grown immensely in their academics and socially, and we’re only half way through the year. I also appreciate that a lot of the controversial/political stuff that can happen in schools is not found here - CSI absolutely focuses on creating a diverse, kind, respectful and accepting atmosphere, but they aren’t pushing agendas or using curriculum as a platform inappropriately. Again, we can’t recommend this school enough. So grateful we learned about!
Posted by a parent on 1/18/2024We recently moved to CSI from another school in the district and it has been amazing. The parents are very involved in the school (as much as possible, it is still Covid times!). The parents talk to each other and form relationships instead of avoiding each other. We have playdates where everyone gets to know each other and it really feels like a community here. My children love going to school. The early grades do not have homework which gives us more room to focus on extracurriculars like math, sports, and music. Looking forward to seeing the school at its full potential when Covid starts to go away.
Posted by a parent on 2/1/2022I take the bullying stuff back, teachers are kinda horrible at stopping bullying but they are great at stoping kids from joking around with each other. as a student I have seen people being clearly harrased by other students and teachers just standing there or not seeing it. the people who usually get in trouble are the ones that are actually joking with their friends (not always though).
Posted by a parent on 11/1/2021Love the design thinking framework to teaching. The children are learning to collaborate and think outside of traditional norms which will only help them excel in their future. This is a great asset to the Campbell community.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are incredibly grateful for the experience both of our children had at Montessori Academy of Campbell ("MAC"). They began at the school as toddlers which as new parents was a stressful transition. MAC put our anxiety at ease with their talented teachers/staff, years of experience, comfortable, safe facilities and thoughtful curriculum. Throughout our time at MAC they continued to endear us with their warm, welcoming, diverse, community-based environment for both our children and entire family to engage with. Even through the pandemic MAC worked hard to provide our children as much off campus support and structure as was possible at a time when they needed it most. Our childrens successful transition into kindergarten could not have been possible without the social, emotional, and educational skills they developed at MAC. We are eternally grateful to MAC and highly recommend the academy.Parent Review5mo ago - Casa Di Mir Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Casa however, this honest review is for the sake of the current or new parents & kids for Primary programs only. - Always have both Parent's & Teacher's meeting together in person or emails, do not just talk to teachers after school by yourself or drop off & pick up line. Keep in mind that there is only 1 assigned main teacher for your kid, not three teachers. In order to get any other Teacher's feedback or prospective, you will need to request a meeting all together in person including the Primary Director. Otherwise, you can only talk to one main teacher for 3 years. - If you see or hear your child is frustrated at school for any reason, request a Teacher and Parent's meeting asap. You can also request multiple class observation(s) for yourself & your spouse for a specific class sessions or recess observations 30 min each. Talk to your kid and see how your kid might be struggling to ask for help or help them describe how they feel. Listen to your child and try to address any behavior concerns asap, not weeks later.- If you happen to get all good feedbacks on the conference reports twice year, make sure you arrange many playdates for your kid outside the school. This way you can see how your kid interact with the peers socially. Talk to other Parents and see how other kids are doing at school. Do not just rely on the conference reports. If you see any behavior concerns, let the teachers know so they can also pay closer look especially during the recess time. - You can see the academic curriculum progress report on the Transparent conference reports from the Kindergarten year only. There is absolutely nothing for the first 2 Primary years progress, unless you request them from the teachers. Do not just take Teacher's word for it and follow up to see what was done, things your child is good at or not good at see if there is anything you can do to help. - Finally, feel free to give Parent's feedback to Primary Director and Head of the school assistant or Head of the school. Especially if you're having any communication issues with the teachers. They will at least try to help communicate better for the sake of your child. I hope this review is helpful where Casa can improve the lake of communication issues in Primary program in the future. Hopefully we can have better experience soon and I will follow up with the review within the next 3 months.Parent Review1mo ago - St. Lucy Parish School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been very happy with our experience at St. Lucy. The teachers care genuinely for their students and are invested in their success, both as students and humans. The school hosts many events throughout the school year to foster a sense of community, and as a result, the parent community feels very supportive and cohesive. Highly recommend.Parent Review1y ago - Canyon Heights Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am happy that i chose Canyon Heights Academy for my daughter. We came from Stratford, which is very academic, but did not have the Catholic foundation that i wanted for my daughter. Not only is Canyon Heights highly academic, but it also defends and teaches the true Catholic faith. The classes are small, and the teachers are highly educated. I am very happy that i chose this school.Parent Review9mo ago - Old Orchard School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe could not be more pleased with Old Orchard School! We spent a lot of time researching and looking for the right fit for our family. We are in our second year at the school and have two children attending. To say that the Old Orchard administration and staff are incredible would be an understatement. Every staff person is there to help and truly cares about our children and their education. The school is invested in social- emotional learning as well as academics. This was important to us as a family. While academics are important to us we also wanted to know that our children would be learning critical life skills such as how to manage their thoughts and emotions, how to stand up for themselves and others, and how to communicate and build relationships, just to name a few. These lessons are woven into the curriculum each week and my children come home talking about it. Both of my children have made wonderful friends and love their teachers. They are learning new things everyday and always have fun stories to share. The administration takes any questions or concerns that parents have very seriously and it truly feels like a partnership. We feel so lucky to have found this school.Parent Review1y ago - Springbridge International School
