My daughter started at this school as a Freshman from another state, she has found it welcoming and the students, for the most part, are respectful and helpful to one another, like every high school there is some drama but for students who are there to learn and not there for socialization it is a great setting, she is preparing to graduate with her associate and continue on with that under her belt.

If you are not a country cowboy or cowgirl, this is not the school for you. This school is ran by FFA (future farmers of america) members. My mother tried getting involved in PCA meetings at this school and they pretty much threw her out because everything was about FFA and I (the student) am NOT in FFA. Another problem is that if you are not a beginning A+ student, the teachers don't care about you! Even if you try raising any grades! The system is very unorganized, it seems like the staff is literally running the school day by day. And Yes, college is great for going to this school BUT a lot of the students this year couldn't take ANY college classes because the school ran out of money for them. Plus, half of my college credits/degree cannot be transferred to my college, UCLA.The principle seems to be spending unnecessary expenses on ridiculous things. Because this is a small school, DRAMA IS EXTREMELY HUGE. You cannot go a day without it here! We recently had a problem with drugs and alcohol. THERE IS NO SPORTS HERE. NO PE. NO ART CLASSES. All this school is good for is being a great transition for 8th graders to a freshman. When you hit Sophomore year, it's time to grow up.....

My son is working on getting his associates degree while enrolled in high school. The school is paying for these courses while he is still in high school as well.

The partnership with Yavapai College has been excellent and has encouraged my son to set goals for himself. The high academic standards and individualized teacher support is exceptional.
