the school is the best the teacher students that everything is perfect.

This school is not good whatsoever and display no good characteristics within the students. The teachers do nothing to support the students if they need it. Two amazing teachers even left because the ownership was despicable and they were harassed. Do not go to this school. Nothing good comes from it, and I'm honestly surprised they haven't shut down.

Once upon a time we loved this school and it was a wonderful place to send kids to. This school year became a laughing joke and good teachers were let go and forced out and left kids very saddened and confused. They aren't learning as much this year and kids seem unhappy to be there now. Administration is not very helpful and never can answer questions fully or honestly. Looking elsewhere for next year. Many of our friends have already moved on.

This is the best school. There are no words to describe how amazing FHCS is. My son was struggling big time at McDowell Mountain. They were always communicating with me, on what my son lacked in. It was very stressful and both my son and I, had high anxiety. So bad he began having seizures. Then we switched to Fountain Hills Charter School. :)Best decision I ever could have made. They focus on what he is good at, and naturally, he began excelling in everything he did lack in. His teacher, Ms.Amy, shows those kids so much love and really lift their self confidence. She makes them feel confident and proud. My son began passing spelling test and even reading (the correct way). Her patience with each child, had made them brave. He isn't scared anymore (now that he isn't being told how poorly he is doing at EVERY THING). My son even gets sad and disappointed when I have to pick him up early for dr. Appointments. He says "mom I was having so much fun". The prior year every morning was the same, (at mcdowell) cry a river of tears and literally BEG and plead, to stay home. At Fountain Hills Charter, he wakes up and can't wait to get to school. When I drop him off he runs to get into the action. He is excited to learn and always is proud of his achievements now. If you have a child who works better with a challenge, I'm sure Mcdowell is a great choice. But if your child is like mine, a little less motivated or easily stressed, then FOUNTAIN HILLS CHARTER is the place for them. Do not get me wrong, they aren't just sliding by- my son was doing the SAME projects and assignments as before, the DIFFERENCE is the amount of individual attention FHCS gives. The older kids (which was a HUGE plus and bonus for my child) come in and help them with their projects. They have a peer who had been there and done that, and now they are helping the younger children understand is from a kids point of view. And what an amaizing thing for the older kids to be helping other people. :)I went from feeling like "what am I doing so wrong as a mom? How can I help my son? How can I MAKE him do his work?" I felt like a failure myself. Then the switch, just wow!!! I don't have to push, he is happy and willing. He has not cried once that he does not want to go to school. We both feel accomplished and proud. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOUNTAIN HILLS CHARTER SCHOOL.
