I am a student here at VUHS and I have been here for two years now. I am going into my third year and have found VHUS to bve a very good place to learn. The student to teacher ratio is very good. I attened Valley Union as did my sister and my son. I think Valley Union is a decent school for the most part. Academically, I think Valley Union is fine.

I had a son in Valley Union High School for the 2001-2002 school year. The Teachers were good, but other then that, the school is not that great. So if you want good teachers it is a good school, but if you care about your child's safety, do not send them to that school.

* In 2011-2012 Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) was used to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona's learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate.
