Mission Middle School

This is a great school, the teachers are very dedicated. Kids from this school,go on the do very well in high school.

My child went to this school and was bullied for months. The teachers were told. They addressed the kids then ignored situation. The situation was brought to principal Owens, and he ignored the situation and did nothing about it. My child has now been seeing therapists, etc. The kids are there to learn and be safe. Not at this school.

My son has been bullied from day 1, slapped in the back, hit with a ball at least twice, stabbed with a pencil once by a girl and numerous verbal insults from other kids. He knows Karate and kickboxing but refuses to fight and goes to report to the office everytime someting bad happens. Up to now nothing has been done, I was told by the Assistant Principal something is being done. Maybe something is being done. But when a a girl student stabs another student unprovoked just because my son said "this school is full of mean people" and returns to school the next day as if nothing happens? Is something really being done? Before I forget, his P.E. shirts have been stolen, twice withing two weeks.
