My son is a recent graduate. I disagree with the reviews about administration. Dr. Rosado always made time to help us with any issues my child had with the few teachers who made unfair or unethical decisions. Even with that being said, I can understand the frustration teachers may feel with trying to ...  Read more

Poorly run school. The administration is more focused on promoting digital renaissance than they are on the students. Students report problems and how or if they are addressed is inconsistent.Education is the last priority at this school. Sad the potential being wasted.

Gshs is a joke. You can graduate at the top of your class and not be close to prepared for college level courses. The administration is mostly concerned with appearances. As a former student I would rate GSHS as a superior school in academics. The teachers who instructed me were excellent at making difficult material interesting. The natural beauty and high living standard of the area attract high quality educators. However, due to the fact that many of the kids who attend ...  Read more

As a 2005 Graduate of Gulf Shores High School, I attribute my successes to my years here. The faculty taught me to embrace my individuality and to become who I want to be. I currently attend The University of Montevallo, where I edit the campus newspaper, hold high offices in my sorority and Student ...  Read more

Pros - In my opinion, Gulf Shores High School is one of the better schools in the county. Academics are challenging at multiple levels from basic to AP style courses. As a producer of scholars all the essentials are there but the students and parents must provide the intellectual capital and personal ...  Read more
