Ticasuk Brown Elementary School

Ticasuk has been a great school for our family! My older son went there K-5 and my younger son is currently in 5th grade. They both have had excellent teachers. The staff at Tic really cares about all its students and their families!

We’ve had a wonderful experience at T. Brown! As a military family, we have had our fair share of schools, and they have exceeded expectations. The staff really helps tailor the learning experience to each child, many extracurriculars and activities are offered, and the students have been so welcoming. 10/10!

We have had nothing but a great experieince with the entire staff at T. Brown. We have had wonderful teachers and the principal is just amazing. Not only does the school excel with academics but they have fun. The teachers are all very friendly and eager to work with parents. We are military family and the level of support and understanding for special attention our kids need in times of deployment is above and beyond what they need to do. Best school in the entire North Pole area.

This is our Second year at Tic-brown, we will miss it, Mrs Gates (1st Grade) is an Outstanding Teacher, she strives for each child to their best and cares about her kids. the staff is outstanding and parent involvement is also outstanding. this school really tries hard to make sure no child is left behind. Thank you so much for 2 great years!!!!

So far what I have found is that the teachers want to help but thier hands are tied with the higher up in comand. If your child isn't 2 or more years behind theres nothing that they can do it seems. What happened to no child left behind?
