Kottinger Village Park, a lovely manicured 4-acre park, is directly across the street from our Pleasanton, CA apartments.*We dont know why you would wa...nt to leave your apartment, but if you do, downtown is just a five-minute walk away. There you will enjoy tons of activities for all ages. Grab your veggies at the Saturday rain-or-shine farmers market, rock and roll at the Friday night concert in the park, or enjoy the Wednesday street fair held the first Wednesday of the month from May to September. If you are looking for something tasty to eat, visit Staceys, our favorite local restaurant. Reasonably priced with wonderful food, Staceys is a treat not to be missed. OK, we will tell you the main reason we love Staceys. You see, Staceys serves the most wonderful, fragrant, amazing homemade bread with the biggest dollop of butter that is melted all over. We can almost taste it now, and thats why we said that its OK to love carbs, because we do too!*Trying to stay away from carbs? Just tell Stacey you want to pass on the bread this time around, or visit some of the other amazing downtown restaurants serving cuisines such as Hawaiian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese and many more! We understand that you work as hard as you play and the weekends are your time! Why not spend them here in Pleasanton? Sure the big city is nice, but our city has a lot to offer too. Visit over 10 wineries (many located on Vineyard Ave. thats no coincidence by the way) in just 10 minutes door to door. Check out one of our favorites, Mitchell Katz Winery. Get a spa treatment or pedicure at Heavenly Day Spa and Salon. Shop till you drop at the Stoneridge Mall they have 153 stories and eateries, so how could you not find something perfect? Whatever you do, we suggest that you make it all about you.*Got to go back to work when the week begins? Thats OK. Our apartments for rent in Pleasanton, CA are a hop and skip from major employers, main streets and the 580 and 680 freeways. Have to take someone to school on the way? You will be happy to know that our schools have a high ranking and are on the California Distinguished School list! Plus, they are super close by just in case they have to walk (and no, it isnt uphill both ways)!*When you are back home at our apartments in Pleasanton, settle in and make it all about you again. You can do that at Pleasanton Glen in fact, we encourage it just as much as we encourage eating carbs.
