"There aren’t many sidewalks. Also, people tend to let their dogs run loose even if it’s into the street. We love taking our dogs to Stone Mountain Park but it’s harder to walk them in our neighborhood. "

"The schools zoned for this area are horrible! Nice neighborhoods on one block and extra hood two streets over. Not the worse area overall but definitely not the best. Most stores and restaurants within 15 mins. 5/10 overall "

"The sidewalks are extremely narrow and traffic goes 45-55 mph three feet away from you. If someone is walking towards you, you have to walk up into someone's yard to get out of their way, and I've had people stop their cars to ask me weird questions about my dog (her breed, sex, weight). The park is nice to walk in, but otherwise this is a horrible area for a dog owner. "

"Neighborhood is a great area to live. Neighbors are somewhat nice. Only thing I don’t like is having to use transportation to go to places. People can’t drive. Some streets has bumps or holes, which that need to be fixed... "

"its has several access to Hwy 285, 78 and 20. the area is constantly strangled with the commute. Many arriving families renting homes in this area with no stress relief for the commute. We do not have sidewalks and very unsafe. You will see people hurrily making it to the shopping center or the Bus stop that's only located on Stone Mnt. Lithonia rd. "

"It’s not. Drugs, crime, and a murder across the street. It’s a horrible place to live. Unsafe. Stone Mountain police constantly patrolling the neighborhood. Get pulled over for the stopping at stop signs, but they will say you failed to stop. "

"If you love to walk to downtown eateries, the police station, & library - this is the small town for you. If you love to work out, several homes in 30083 are walking distance to the Stone Mountain Park- walking, cycling, boating, & just plain fun! I really miss being able to walk to Stone Mountain Park & cycle around the base of the Mountain- now I have moved intown and am not able to ride my bike anywhere but Stone Mountain Park- but I can no longer peddle to the park!
