And it has really nice tree coverage with not too much ground cover so its pretty easy to get around. I love the meadows that it opens up in to also. Feels like you just wander from meadow to meadow so its private yet open.There is a nice mix of Pinon and Ponderosa Pines with Juniper trees. Some of the Ponderosa Pines are nice sized old growth pines and just absolutely beautiful. There are really nice views of Fishers Peak and the Raton Mesa also.This ranch is in the area south of Highway 12 that was originally part of the old Maxwell Spanish Land Grant which I think is really pretty neat. A lot of history from the old Spanish occupied days in the area as well as the native american history.I did notice a lot of wildlife sign too on this property and with the area being more remote it looks to be a good property to hunt on. Its about 6-7 miles north of the New Mexico border which adjoins Ted Turners Vermejo Park Ranch where there are huge herds of elk.There is underground power on the ranch road at the property line which means that it will be really easy to get power into the property. Underground power is rare in this area and it does cost more to run but just think no overhead power lines to get in your view. This is awesome!
