Where do I even begin with Stacy? The summary of my experience is - she was my husband’s and my agent for our home we recently purchased in Santa Monica, and she is, by far, the best realtor we have ever worked with (and this is the third property we’ve purchased, the other two in downtown LA). If you have the opportunity to work with her in any capacity, please do! You will not regret it. From the start, Stacy was very responsive and flexible in setting up a time for my husband and me to see the condo listing. We immediately fell in love and wanted to make an offer, and <48 hours later we were opening escrow. To say escrow threw us some unexpected curveballs is an understatement. The short of it is that, the first lender my husband and I worked with (whom we found on our own) was unable to get the job done in a reasonable timeframe. We worked with him for over a month, and it got to a point where he simply stopped responding to e-mails. At this time, we were only a few days from the deadline the seller had originally set for the close of escrow, and we didn’t have a loan in place. “Stressed” doesn’t even begin to describe our emotional state. Fortunately, Stacy had predicted this might happen with this particular lender (her gut instinct in working with people is superb), so she had connected us just a couple of weeks prior with a lender she knew well and was sure could get the job done in a timely fashion. We are beyond grateful she did this because it was this lender who was able to pull through and complete the loan in under a month. All the while, Stacy was also managing the seller’s expectations and ensuring that the seller fully understood what was going on, that everything was in place and ready but we simply had a lemon of a lender the first go-around, and she kept the seller at ease throughout the process, despite the fact that escrow closed a few weeks after the original date set. Without Stacy and her patience, her expertise, her connections, her exceptional ability to manage people and keep everyone on the same page, there is no way this would have worked. She is constantly working for you and always several steps ahead. On top of everything, Stacy is very friendly, approachable, and easy to work with. She was flexible in allowing us access to the unit on several occasions before the close of escrow to take measurements, to start to plan out our decor, etc., and she even connected us with some terrific workers she knew who went on to help us with some major renovations! After having purchased three properties and worked with several different agents over the years, I can say with 100% confidence (which, as a scientist, is difficult for me to say) that Stacy is the most proficient realtor I have ever encountered. My husband and I are happy to know that, whenever we need an agent in the future, Stacy will be the first person we contact.
