I can be long-winded so if you don't read the whole thing, read this before scrolling: GET SHANNON LEE AS YOUR REALTOR, WILMINGTON! New Year's Eve 2015 my wife Amber Williams and I sat up talking about the daunting task of needing more space for our twin 1 year old boys who were literally bouncing off the walls of our 1300sf 1978 ranch. Like a lot of folks who bought in 2007, we were upside down, or so we thought. We agreed to contact a realtor in the new year and see if perhaps a miracle could be worked, but we didn't expect much. Shannon was a true professional from Day 1. She believed she could sell our house, even with two ankle biters running around, and she made us believe too. She put our mind at ease with the daunting process with a step by step approach that kept the anxiety at bay. At the same time, Shannon was very attentive and patient as we looked at new houses. Shannon LISTENS and she RESPONDS. She provides solid advice and steering, and believe me we needed both at times, but in a tactful and objective way. She cares about her clients, and it shows. On the flip side, when it comes to negoatiating or even a walk-through, don't be fooled by her sweet demeanor: this lady is a bulldog for her clients. She fights for her clients down to the last dollar and the smallest detail. We saw her do it for us in both our pruchase and our sale. The selling agent for our new house told us one day before Shannon arrived at the house for a meeting about some small final details, "you've got a good one." Amber said, "we know" and smiled. There were bumps along the way. None of them her fault. Things like title issues, buyers being flaky. And my Drivers License being expired at closing. Within 2 minutes Shannon is on her phone with the DMV like "no problem we can get you a new license in the next 40 minutes, let's go, we are getting this closed today." She's a problem solver, not a problem worrier. In the end, Shannon got us out of our quasi-upside down starter home and into a new home where my boys are already marking up the drywall, and we couldn't be happier with either transaction. Looking back, none of this we really thought was possible sitting there last New Years Eve, and folks, Shannon Lee made it happen. She knows Wilmington. She knows the market. She knows people. And she knows how to do her job, very well. I am not a paid spokesperson. Just a happy customer. Ben & Amber Williams
