My wife and I are very happy to have worked with Kathleen Cislo in our home search. She is a great realtor and an even better person. My wife and I were first time home buyers and Kathy was very patient with us and guided us through the process. She had great knowledge of the process which I am sure is no doubt a result of her many years of experience. She was very knowledgeable of the areas we were looking to buy which spanned Avon, Avon Lake, Westlake, Bay Village, and Rocky River, OH. She explained everything to us as we went, gave us great advice to help us find our new home, and helped us find what we really wanted. We felt very confident in her abilities and could feel that she was genuinely invested in providing us with great service and putting us in the home that would be right for us. She worked very hard for us and we are grateful. Kathleen was always very responsive, very organized, and always acting in our best interest. Beyond that and what you can expect from a great realtor she was very supportive and caring throughout the process. Even when we were discouraged she kept us optimistic. Through patience and perseverance she played a major role in putting us into our new home that we love. She exceeded all of our expectations. To share a little bit of our personal story we began looking for a house in October of 2016. The home search process was a roller coaster for my wife and I, largely do to an insane market in the areas we were looking. Homes in our price range were selling like hot cakes, and going to bidding wars. Through the process Kathy showed us numerous houses always prepared with notes. It seemed we were going to see houses multiple times a week but Kathy always did her best to make herself available and work around our schedule. In our search for a house we put in numerous offers. Kathy wrote numerous contracts with us into the late hours at her office. We were in competition for several homes and lost, due in no part to negotiations but just the simple circumstances. She never pressured us to bid beyond our comfort level of what we knew we could afford. Once again, looking out for our best interests. We were in contract for one house and walked away after an overly complicated inspection. As you can imagine we were discouraged a few times but Kathy was positive, confident, and supportive and kept us moving forward. She let us know she was in it with us for the long haul and she was going to put us in a house that was right for us. We even at one point considered expanding our search to other locations to avoid the tough competition for homes but I think she knew that we shouldn't settle and it wouldn't be what we would be happy with even though it would have made it easier to find something. She was right and I'm so happy she stirred us back on track. Her knowledge, expertise, negotiation skills, and most of all genuine care for us as her client made it possible for us to be in the house we are in today and I wouldn't change a thing. Not only was Kathy our Realtor but we feel that we made a friend along the way. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a house. If at any point we decide to sell, I know who we are going to call.
