This real estate agent was recommended to me by someone I trusted. As a buyer, she was slow to find me anything I was interested in. I ended up having to find my own places to look at. Literally all she did was set up the preview once I found a place I liked, and helped with the paperwork. I don't remember what percentage I paid her but she really didn't deserve whatever the regular commission is. This inactiveness should have been a big warning. As a seller, a couple years after my property had gained value, I had asked her to list my property and she said she was working on it. I followed up and she still said they were working on it. Yet they were not (I did not know that at the time). A couple months had passed in this time, during which due to my trusting nature I still had faith she was working on it for me. Then the market crashed and I became trapped in my property for many, many years due to their misrepresentation, unable to sell because my property had lost over six figures and I was upside down. I can't place the full blame on her since I should have taken charge and gone with someone else the moment I suspected she wasn't being forthcoming, yet because of the trust factor and my first time homeowner status, I really trusted her too much and was too inexperienced to know better. I never received any kind of apology or acknowledgement for the trouble she caused me after I placed trust in her. No I’m sorry I was going through personal problems. No I’m unavailable but let me recommend someone to you. Nothing. Caveat emptor, do not make the same with any representative you use. I'm sure she's been much better to other people but to me she caused a lot of heartache getting me stuck in my property unable to sell - would not recommend to anyone else. This is not an erroneous review or a fake review, but a former client who feels my experience would be valid to others. My address is irrevolent, I am not here to list my property, I am here to talk about my experience with this specific real estate agent.
