For the last 12 years I have worked on over 350 Mortgage Loans & Real Estate transactions. Prior to becoming a full time real estate agent in 2010 I worked as a loan consultant for Nationwide Funding Group Corp. where I had a great level of success working with clients in 35 states. Being that California is my state of residence it was always my main focus. Working in the financing field for so many years allowed me to make the transition to becoming a full time realtor in 2010 and gives me the advantage of being able to personally prequalify all my clients. Since joining Keller Williams Pacific Estates I have been successfully moving up in the company rankings. I have been ranked 9th as a top productig agent for an office that is ranked #1 in all of California. I believe that the reasons I am successful have to do with my positive attitude, my communication skills, my forward thinking, my relentless personality, and the ability to be a problem solver, along with my intense knowledge of the past and current Real Estate market. My priority is that my clients accomplish the biggest sale or purchase of their life. I always make it a point to develop a personal relationship with my clients and I makes sure I provide you the excellent service you deserve. Customer service is always a top priority for me. The Alvarez Real Estate Group led by me is a business that is 95% referral based from my previous clients going as far back as clients from 2002. I am currently married to Erika Alvarez and have been since 2001. She is my middle school sweetheart. We have 3 kids together Javier Jr., Sofia, and Daisy. Our kids are very active in sports. In my spare time you can find me on the baseball field watching my son play baseball or watching my daughters play soccer. I also enjoy golfing, playing softball, playing baseball, traveling and spending time with my family.

- Helped me buy a home
We had another agent for about 4 weeks. He strung us along saying he would show us properties and send us listings. Didn't get a single listing nor did we get any paperwork on our pre approval. We were the one's driving around looking for houses and asking him the status and they were all "out of reach". Got fed up and was recommended by a family friend to Javier Alvarez. Within days of meeting with him we got our golden letter of approval stating we were pre-qualified and we could start shopping around and placing offers. He signed us up with the Home Spotter App and off we went house hunting! Javier had us write down the top five things we didn't want and must haves for our home. In today's market we were sure to only get about 2-3 of the things we wanted. Javier pulled it off. Our must haves' were 1-big lot. 2-room to expand. 3-parking. 4-garage. 5-no pool. WOW and WOW! We fired our previous agent and In less than 30 days we found a home that fit our needs. Javier placed our offer and we were accepted. We were on our way to home ownership with Javier. His lovely wife Erika Alvarez handled our funding and saw to it, that we got the best rate and stayed within our budget. We felt comfortable thru every step as first time home buyers. When we were in doubt we could give either of them a call and they explained and answered all of our concerns and set us at ease. We highly recommend Alvarez Real Estate Group. We closed on our home and received our keys on July 31st. Best decision we made was going with Javier and Erika. We will be forever grateful to them for helping us with our new home. We're very happy with our purchase and please give him a chance to make your home purchase as easy and quick as ours. Thank you Javier and Erika Alvarez!!!! We love our new home!!!
