- Helped me buy a home
To describe my experience with Mark was PHENOMENAL, AWESOME, & TERMENDOUS !!! If I could give 10 stars for every category, I would! He is my agent for life, I'm not Kidding. If I need to Buy or Sell again, Mark is the ONLY agent I will use!!! Mark is a Life saver. If it wasn't for Him and his wonderful skills in Real Estate, I would not be sitting here, in the comfort of my new home, writing this review!!! I started out with another agent who did not represent me AT ALL as the buyer! After 3 weeks of wasted time, We had to part ways right before I put an offer in on the house I was interested in, & eventually bought with Mark's diligent Help. Mark walked me through the whole process, & he helped me not to make any buyer mistakes & (boy there was one I was going to make that would have cost me my entire "earnest money" : down payment) I'm glad he saved me from that! It was a very difficult transaction to go through because of a number of reasons: 1. The Seller was very unreasonable! Some sort of a control freak, I mean person! 2. the Seller's agents (there was two) were not very helpful at all, trying to assist in getting this transaction done! All the while, Mark was in constant contact with them, trying to move things along. And Finally & Ultimately 3. The lender I choose Was sooooo slow in getting the loan done, I almost lost the house because of them!!! Closing should be a 4 week process. This Lender, RPM Mortgage, finally got the job done almost 3 weeks late! A total of 7 weeks! I had to pay extra because of them, especially their underwriter! If you hear the words "RPM Mortgage", RUN the other way as fast as you can. I ended up paying a $100 a day per-dium for being 17 days past the closing date! The Seller was ticked, Seller's Agents were ticked, I as the Buyer was ticked!!! The ONLY cool head in the game was Mark! None of this was Mark's fault!!! There are many people involved in one transaction of buying/selling a house & if one person doesn't do their job or part, then everybody suffers and doesn't get paid for all their personal hard work! I went through all of this, with Mark by my side, because I really wanted the house & it was in the area my wife wanted to live in !!! Bottom line: get the right Lender--- the one Mark suggested was excellent. The wrong lender can mess up everything & Mark warned me of that! 3 days before the final closing ( when it finally closed, because I didn't know when that was going to happen) I was sooo mad at my lender, I basically fired everyone (except Mark) I started with the Title Company, we signed all the docs 2 days earlier. I told them I would be out of town Fri-Sun. Make sure I've signed ALL the Documents! They called me Friday and said I have 12 more papers to sign. I was Livid !!! I told them to stop everything ! They told my mortgage agent, Mortgage Company, and Mark my Real Estate Agent. It was time for everybody else to start freaking out! And they all did, except Mark! Remember, I was out of town on a business seminar, didn't have time for none of this nonsense anymore. Mark finally got in touch with me, when I was on break, he was cool and collected, no begging what so ever, he got my head on straight! I'm so thankful for that! He started to explain the ramifications & process of pulling out of this deal! I was so thankful for his insights & knowledge, because it would have cost me a lot of time away from work, a LOT OF MONEY I would have lost & paid for, & possible legal action, which I didn't want, & lost of my earnest money! This may have been one of the most difficult transactions that Mark may have gone through, I don't know, but I do know that it would not have happen without him being there and handling this for us, all the way to the end! He was always in contact with us by phone and text with me, & e-mail with my wife, when he needed documents signed from us. He is worth more than his Weight in Gold!! When we needed another agent, after the really BAD one we just let go, We called Mark & I wanted to meet him in person with my wife and after meeting with him & answering all my questions: I KNEW AT THAT MOMENT, ..... HE WAS THE ONE !!! So, do what I did, call him; meet with him. You will definitely not regret it. Really, the only thing I regret is: not calling him first, when I needed a True advocate in buying a Home for my family!
