Since becoming a Realtor, I have had to find a balance between two extremes common to many sales people.I was drawn to real estate by the belief I could help people and put others first. But the way the industry worked, it seemed that you had to project confidence, knowledge, even a sense of superiority if you expected to succeed. I soon learned successful agents did, put the customer first. Agents seem to put almost everyone else first – their family, their friends, even their competition if that made for a better situation for everyone involved. In the truest sense, they have to learn to humble themselves. I do this not because I like to put myself in the limelight, but to remind you that I am here and intend to be here for many years to come, eager to serve you like no other Realtor in our area. I am a native to Idaho, raised in the Rexburg area. I believe that I have a strong sense of what my clients’ needs and wants are. Customer satisfaction is important to me but more than anything I would like a friendship that will go on for many years. Many of my past clients are life long friends. - Helped me buy a home
My out-of-state home had sold very quickly -- so quickly, in fact, that we had not yet looked for our dream home in Idaho Falls. I contacted Ryan and explained that my wife would be in town for one (business) day and asked if he could meet up with her to show her a few houses. After chatting with me for an hour or so on the phone, he asked for addresses of every house we were interested in and agreed to clear his schedule the day my wife would be in town. Fast forward a few days, Ryan arranged 7-8 houses for my wife to view and even showed her around town. Within a few days, we put an offer on a beautiful home (under asking price). Within 24hrs we were in Escrow! But here's the kicker: the purchase of the new home was contingent on the sale of our old home. And because our old home had sold so quickly, we were very concerned we (and our five children) would be stuck in hotels for days (or weeks) while the Escrow ran its cycle on the new home. I stressed this worry of mine to Ryan on the phone one day, and he took it in stride. With a lot of work on his side, Ryan was able to negotiate a simultaneous close: we signed papers on the new home on a Tuesday, left town on Wednesday, arrived in Idaho Falls Thursday and moved in on Friday. Ryan even stopped by to welcome us. Unless you've purchased a home a few states away from your current one, you can't fully appreciate the stress that comes with finding a Realtor/Home from a distance. It's scary. But Ryan became our eyes and ears and as well as our advocate. He's a skilled negotiator and knows this market better than anyone. Most importantly, he listened to every concern, worry, worst-case-scenario I had and dealt with it head on. I can't recommend him enough (especially to you out-of-state buyers: this is your guy!).
