As first time home buyers we were unsure of the whole process. Even where to find a good realtor. We were very lucky to have a mortgage loan officer who had worked for years and had nothing but good things to say about Tony Machado. From the first time we met we were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. We met in his office. We went over all of our goals and he laid out the his goals for us. He showed us what the whole process would look like step by step, which really helped to know what to expect. Once we were out looking for homes Tony was awesome. He would send us all kinds of options of homes in our target area and price range. I was very excited about looking for a home as I'm sure you can imagine. He would take every one of my suggestions and look through all the info he has that the general public do not. He would come back and give me his honest opinion on what he found. He was very flexible with meeting us for home showings. My wife and myself have different schedules, so he would meet with me during the weekdays and both of us on the weekend. When we did get into contract with a home, Tony was there to meet me for the inspections. He was walking me around the house showing me all the things the inspectors were looking for and why they were important to us. During that process he was pulling up carpet and found water soaked wood underneath. He then got the inspector and showed what he had found. It was the result of a bigger problem. It probably would have been discovered by the inspector but it was so nice to see our realtor caring enough about us getting the right home to be getting dirty and discovering things and not just rushing us into a home and moving on to the next buyer or seller. There were other issues also with that home and we had to pull out of that purchase. He explained all our rights on doing that. It was hard to be so excited and then be let down by the seller and have to start looking for another home. Tony reassured us that it wasn't meant to be and we would find another. Which we did. We found a home that we are in love with. We have been here for 9 months and am very happy. So if you are looking for a very knowledgeable, honest and professional realtor, Tony would be a great choice.
