Browndeer school district is failing all children especially black and brown children. Browndeer forces parents to voluntarily withdraw students after incidents when all families that live in the district have a right to free school especially when paying extremely high property taxes to live in this area. The Administration especially in the middle high school are very inconsistent. They continue to change leadership which causes a weak foundation and inconsistency. Browndeer is going down the District leader is unapologetic unapproachable and they do not follow DPIs policies and procedures. Teachers are frustrated, yelling at students and intimidating/ bullying students. They have poor class room management skills not trained in trauma informed care. The class sizes are large 1:25+ ratio and if your child has a special need they are not equipped staff wise to handle. I would rather pay for private schooling and move out of the district. Do not send your child here especially the middle/high school Browndeer is failing our children and going down rapidly and should be facing many lawsuits. On the outside the school looks great but it’s all a façade.

BD does not honor the mission statement. BD called the police department and allowed the BD police department to place a 10 year old in handcuffs. This is the Browndeer Way!
