3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in the 2nd grade. I have really enjoyed Pioneer for the last few years. I volunteer in my daughters class so I am pretty familiar with everything. The principal Jenni is fantastic! Most of the teachers seem great as well. My daughter loves Pioneer. My complaints would be that the smarter kids are not challenged enough because the teachers and helpers are having to spend so much time with the kids that are behind, therefore, the smarter kids do not have a chance to excel above their capabilities. Excel classes are offered once you reach 2nd grade, but a parent has to request their child be tested. The pick up time of day seems a little chaotic and makes me nervous, kids could almost go with anybody. The drop off in the morning is annoying, they do not let the kids walk through the office because the classrooms have outside doors all around the building, yet last yr my daughter's class didn't have an outside door and she was told to use another classroom door. If you want to make sure your child enters the building safely you have to follow them all the way to their outside door! No easy drop offs here! They are strict about where you can park to drop off as well.Parent Review10y ago - Frontier Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student, I am absolutely delighted to share my experience with Union High School, a true gem in the education landscape! Recently, Union High School was chosen as one of the prestigious CHSS Demonstration Schools for the 2023-24 academic year, and it's easy to see why they earned this recognition.Union High School's remarkable achievement as a CHSS Demonstration School speaks volumes about the outstanding commitment and dedication of the entire school community. With consistently high 9th Grade On-Track Rates and a track record of sustained improvement, Union High School has proven time and again that they are truly exceptional in their approach to education. The implementation of the CHSS Roadmap at Union High School is nothing short of exemplary. The school's leadership and faculty have wholeheartedly embraced this framework, creating an environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential. The impressive 9th Grade On-Track Rate of over 90% across multiple years is a testament to the effectiveness of this approach.Kudos to the Titans of Union High School for their remarkable achievement! The dedication, hard work, and unwavering support provided by the school's staff and administration have undoubtedly contributed to this well-deserved recognition. "Lots of other dogs here haha :) Most are friendly but it's better to keep your dog on a leash just in case. 99% of people with dogs here have trained them well it's just the sight of a big dog that might scare someone haha! But all dogs here are friendly i love them :)"
