3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers are nice enough, but coming from a former student, they have a lot of room to improve. They let so much horrible behavior slide like bullying, school fights, skipping, etc. The education was also mediocre, half the time it was interrupted by someone yelling or running out the door. If you have the option too, don't go here.Other Review1y ago - Mccarver

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is attending this school and I love it! She only went here from the end of April to the ending of the 2013-2014 school year and we had no problems at all. Where as at her old school Tillicum Elementary in Lakewood she was bullied for being mixed and for other stupid little things,Clover Park School district has the worse bus drivers who would argue with my child make racial comments about her name, made her sit in a seat alone and no one was allowed to sit by her ( my child was never bad on the bus either) and once she fell asleep on the bus and they forgot about her....I have had no issues here at all. The peace march was really cool and my child loved it! I think its great they are involving our kids in things that can impact the community greatly! I love this schoolParent Review9y ago - Stadium

"Great neighborhood people are friendly and the community is strong together. Some neighbors are a bit nosey, but I’m assuming they just want what’s best for the neighborhood or don’t have any business of their own."

"We have been here for two years now and have seen it continually changing for the better. Houses are being repaired and improved, there are more kids out playing in the neighborhood, neighbors are meeting each other and building relationships. Central is probably the best neighborhood in Tacoma if you want to be able to walk to downtown, get on any of the highways, walk to Sixth Avenue, own a beautiful pre-war home and be surrounded by a young and diverse community."

"Great area I'm the day time. Small local shops restaurants and bars. Night time is quite a different story. With all the bars and people it can get loud and dangerous. Senseless vandalism and homeless drug addicts roam and break into cars."

"I love this area! I've lived here 5 years and its quiet and gorgeous and fun! I will love here for as long as I can."
- Kirk B.

"This is an affordable neighborhood that attracts young families. Walking distance to good food, a seasonal farmer's market, groceries. The area was not as good ten to fifteen years ago but has changed as young families have moved back, fun shops and restaurants have opened. The area has renewed itself."
