My son was a midyear transfer from a private school and they did a tremendous job helping with his transition and accommodating his need for understanding and help with ADHD and with his need for accelerated material in the classroom.Parent Review4y ago - Glover Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't recommend this school, in my first year. I dropped out and switched schools right after my freshman year after an incident that involved another student. The teachers hardly did anything to help me get out of my academic rut no matter how many times I asked, and then flunked me. But this didn't happen to just me, it happened to many other people I was associated with... And when they actually gave me an answer when I asked for help, it was vague, or they would tell me irrelevant information that I already know. About 80% of the staff there were not great both to teach and facilitate. To make that statement clearer, there was an incident with people recording people getting beat up in the bathrooms and posting them on the web. The staff knew of this and did nothing about it. When it was brought up again, they claimed they knew nothing about it at all. Moving on, there was close to no time windows for projects. Maybe a day or two. The students attending in my year were highly messed up, either with illegal things, or a snappy attitude. So overall, it was an atrocity. In full. I would not recommend this school.Other Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 3919 W Longfellow Ave.

"I don't personally know my neighbors, don't even know most of their names. But they know my car and I know theirs and we always exchange a smile and wave when passing by. It's a simple gesture that makes me feel like welcome. "

"There's not really any community events aside from school and church functions, however, the people in the neighborhood are friendly and look after one another. We have kids between the ages of 7 and 14, so the schools being close enough to walk is a plus!"

"I've lived here 8 years. The people here watch out for each other. You can take a bus everywhere you need to go if you don't have a car. Everything you would need is close by but the area isn't too congested."

"I lived in this neighborhood for 21 years and it was the best years of my life. Great friendly neighbors who are willing to help out, like when we had that big power outage in Spokane people in this neighborhood had extension chords running acrossed the street in order to lend power to those who didn't have it. I wouldn't trade the years I spent in this neighborhood for any amount of money."

"Spokane is a small, big city, just right. Downtown has Riverfront Park which is family oriented with it's famous carousal, IMAX, skating rink. (A world's fair was held here, so we have lots of beautiful clean parks, activities and entertainment. I love living here!"
