6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to school here from 2014-2018 and it was the best experience. My siblings still attend school here, and love it as well. All of the teachers and staff care about your learning and who you are as a person! I was in the musical department and it was such an amazing time and a great benefit to my high school experience!!Other Review1y ago - Sheridan Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, Chase is a decent school. It has some things it needs to work on, like certain teachers being disrespectful or not being fit to work with students, but most of the teachers really care about students and are passionate about what they do. Student-wise, it is very typical for a middle school. The school is very good about disciplining students and accommodating students with disabilities or issues. The lunches are not very good; they serve the same thing almost every day. The sports are pretty well-funded, and there a few clubs to join. The electives are really fun, especially Drama and Art. It's an average school, and the success that your child has really depends on themselves.Student Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 16 S Fiske St.

What Locals Say about East Central

"People are friendly. The place has completely de eloped and it continues to grow. There’s a close night market as well once a week."

"There are children around but only by necessity as rent is very cheap here. It is absolutely not friendly, one of the most dangerous areas in Spokane. Prolific trash and dumping, as well as a very heavy homeless population. There are obvious signs of drug use, as well as public drug use sightings increasing. People drive extremely fast and recklessly depending on the road. Not a place for children."

"There are a lot of dogs here. Some people clean up after their dogs. Some dogs are loose because of homeless population. Not a family friendly area."

"This neighborhood has a great mix of young and old, families and single folks. You are close to downtown without any of the drawbacks of being downtown. "

"I am next to the freeway making it quick to any area of spokane. I am also within walking distance of liberty park. "
