5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers and staff are truly amazing, caring people at Adams Elementary. From the teachers, principal, secretaries, counselor, custodians, supervisors. They have the best PTSA which provides many school supplies for all students. They have helped support the classrooms with things like Chromebooks and assemblies, and put on events like the Fall Carnival, Spring Fun Run, Book Fairs, Fundraisers, Father-Daughter Dance. My daughter is in middle school and still talks about her elementary experience. My son is currently a 4th grader and is very involved. They have many programs during the school day for students to be involved in: ASB, Eagle Singers, Library Helpers, Peer Mediators, WOW workers, Green Team; and after school: Fit for Bloomsday, Cross Country, Smart Programs, 5the grade orchestra, STEM camps, Sky Hawks camps, Science programs. Students have so many opportunities to be successful not only ineed their education, but also as citizens in our community. Adams has a positive feel from the minute you walk through the doors. The student work and art line the hallways, parent volunteers are always in the building helping, custodians keep the inside and outside clean and the teachers are doing an amazing job of educating our future. I cannot say enough about this school.Parent Review8y ago - Central Valley High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo far we have 2 kids that have attended school at CVHS and one at CVT. Two more will attend CV in the next couple years. The teachers have been kind. The school are both very nice inside. The band concerts and other school functions are well orchestrated. The office staff is great. All in all, we have had a very pleasant experience with the CV schools and have loved raising our kids in the Sunrise and Morningside areas.Parent Review8mo ago - Evergreen Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have 5 kids that have attended school at Evergreen over the past several year. The teachers have been kind. The school has been renovated beautifully. The neighborhood is safe. The band concerts and other school functions are well orchestrated. The office staff is great. We did have a problem with one of the kids being bullied in 6th grade. As soon as it was brought to the guidance counselors attention, the kids involved were given in-school suspension and a meeting was called with each of their parents. The kids were also required to apologize to my child. All in all, we have had a very pleasant experience with this school and have loved raising our kids in the Sunrise and Morningside areas.Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 14124 E 4th Ave.

"If you're talking about greenstone properties development, I'm been here 8 years. It's got crowded people that don't live here come Here Is the problem for me? And I don't really like the idea. Without gating community, it is caused a problem for me. I can't hardly walk my dog sometimes. There might be 4 people walking I'd like to see the area gated with a key. So the only access to this place would be the people that live here. It's gotten polluted, people are breaking the fence. They're breaking the The bench a The shooting area and also other areas. They have broken, then I can't even tell you. So open gated HOA is no no"

"There are children around but only by necessity as rent is very cheap here. It is absolutely not friendly, one of the most dangerous areas in Spokane. Prolific trash and dumping, as well as a very heavy homeless population. There are obvious signs of drug use, as well as public drug use sightings increasing. People drive extremely fast and recklessly depending on the road. Not a place for children."

"There are a lot of dogs here. Some people clean up after their dogs. Some dogs are loose because of homeless population. Not a family friendly area."

"Great neighborhood with amenities like parks, groceries and speciality stores. Convenient to get downtown via Southeast Blvd. Easy to get to the I-90 freeway to get to the Valley, Airway Heights, and area near the freeway. Not as cozy a neighborhood as the west side of the South Hill. More commercial but you get the conveniences."
