There are some great schools (Wing Luke, Rainier View) and some schools getting local (Aki Kurose) and national recognition for turnaround (Rainier Beach). We are under-resourced here,and we don’t have PTSA programs with the financial power of the North Seattle schools to fill in the gaps the way they do."
