Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from August 18, 2021
Smack dab between Fremont and Ballard, this perfectly turnkey bungalow sits just blocks away from the best coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries the city has to offer. Step through the front door and it's clear that all the hard work has been done with upgraded systems and clean, modern finishes. The light-filled, smart layout flows easily between the kitchen and living room. There's one bedroom in the front and another tucked away in the back that steps out through french doors onto the Trex deck. The fenced backyard is a perfect place to sip an after-work cocktail and bask in the sunshine. When extra space is needed there's plenty of room for all your belongings in the storage attic. And, right up the street is Ross Park + playground.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur school geo-area changed with our second son and we were assigned to B.F. Day. I was initially skeptical to switch from our older son's elementary but wow, was I wrong. My son started in 1st grade and had one amazing teacher after another. We had a modified version of the 4th/5th mini-middle school because of covid, but his 3 teachers were total rock stars, and met kids where they were both academically and socio-emotionally. The community values at this school were also strong, the PTSA worked to support teachers and kids and build an inclusive community. The school counselor Mr. Taylor is also a gem, and Principle Jaskot is very supported by teachers is amazing. I'm so grateful to B.F. Day!Parent Review2y ago - Hamilton International Middle School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy teen appreciates the variety of classes offered at Lincoln. Her sophomore year, she took 2 AP classes and scored 5 out of 5 for each. Encouraged by her teachers, she signed up 4 AP classes this year. She enjoys being challenged by both her teachers and athletic coaches, who have been supportive of her when she experienced a health challenge midway through a season. As parents, we appreciate all the levels of challenge and encouragement she has received from the Lincoln teachers, coaches, and student community.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 411 NW 43rd Street.

"I lived in this neighborhood for 2 years. It’s got a lot going on. Butts up against Green Lake Park, has plenty to restaurants that are walkable, and a decent nightlife on 45th"

"This neighborhood has access to restaurants, greenlake, gasworks and the burke Gilman trail. Most parts are quiet.."

"Lots of dog walking done in the neighborhood but you have to be careful of the bigger intersections "

"There’s poop bag stations located on the streets in case you forget yours or need another one. There are some patchy grass area but wish there could be more for dogs to use the restroom. That might be strategic. "

"Seattle’s funky neighborhood close to the city but far enough from downtown that it can still feel calm. Neighbors are nice and helpful, great place to live!"
- Claire W.

"Too far. I have a either wait to get on the 5 or take the toll tunnel. I hate it. I work in Rainier so it seems like I’m always hitting traffic at the wrong time as well. "

"The unique people and locally run restaurants and shops. Still a neighborhood that is keeping the heart beat of seattle alone. "
- Rebecca L.

"Easy 2 minute walk to a bus then a 10-15 minute bus ride to my office downtown. If I get a ride there can be traffic on Aurora, but it only adds a few minutes. "
- Crissmansara

"There is a big Solstice parade in the summertime filled with naked bike riders and floats through the streets. There are also many art installations throughout the neighborhood including the troll under the bridge, dinosaur hedges, the statue of Lenin, the spaceship and big Saturn. The list goes on. I love how close Fremont is to the canal trails and Gas Works park."

"You can go out any day of the week and there's generally always something going on. it's a neighborhood filled w/20 something's to early 40's, don't see a lot of kids but I'm sure they're around and that the future will bring even more. "

"None. We meet at terrific market Marketime and cafes. The only community center is green lake and you don’t really meet people much there. It’s crowded. There is good turnout for Woodland park sports... not much else"

"Naked Bike Ride! Statue of Lenin. The Fremont Troll. Oktoberfest. I love living by the Burke Gilman trail as well. The proximity to Gas Works Park is also a huge plus."

"Along my block we always either wave hello if not say hello which is a welcome & appreciative thing since previously I lived in an area where no one knew their neighbor nor even really made eye contact with one another at the very least, which always felt silly to me. Also, everyone knows eachother's pets so if one of them happens to escape... they never get very far before they're seen by someone on the block and brought home in generally a quick enough lapse of time that the owner hasn't even noticed their absence yet! "It’s right in the heart of the city. Really good restaurants and bars within walking distance. It’s central to all neighborhoods making it easy to get around with or without a car. It’s right off lake union and close to gas works park. It also the Sunday Fremont farmers market within walking distance. It’s where the Solstice parade is held every June. "
