9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had a pretty good experience here after transferring from another school. The building itself could really use an extra wing, though. Most of the hallways and staircases are so narrow and they get extremely packed when kids get out of class, to the point that I genuinely believe there would be causalities in the event of a fire, for example. The only open spaces where you can stop getting pushed around is 2 of the entrances and a cafeteria. Seriously, as schools get more populated, this place would give me claustrophobia if they tried to accommodate more kids. Also a LOT of the students tried to peer pressure me into buying coke lmao, what a waste of money. Mostly good teachers though.Parent Review3y ago - Lawton Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had to post a review because I questioned the authenticity of the 10/10 rating for this elementary school. My kid goes here and I don't see anything special about the education here. My kid did so well on tests because I taught him at home. The advanced material is being integrated into the classroom. However, there's no monitoring for the kids who take these more advanced tasks or homework. My kid was given different books or online materials to bring home. But that's about it. When it comes to teaching him new knowledge, it's mostly me. So basically the SPS just offloaded the high cap materials to parents?Parent Review1mo ago - Mcclure Middle School
