"My neighborhood is friendly and quite. I help my neighbors and in return they also help me out. We also watch out for each other as best we can. "
  • Trulia User
"We have potlucks and neighborhood gatherings every year. We even decorate for every holiday season. "
  • Trulia User
"10 min commute to first hill. Very fast and easy. Not a lot of traffic. I have nothing else to add here"
  • Trulia User
"It has history and is also an up and coming neighborhood. It’s close to downtown, but gives the feeling of a smaller community. "
  • Trulia User
"This is an awesome neighborhood - plenty of restaurants in CD and a quick walk to Capitol Hill & Madrona, plus stunning mountain views and friendly people. "
  • Trulia User
"I bought a townhouse in the Central District 4 years ago. I moved here because it was affordable, had great transit links to downtown and easy access to the freeways. My wife and I are really happy we moved here - every month there's a new restaurant or coffee shop opening up in walking distance. I live close to 23rd and Union and was a bit concerned about safety because of the frequent police presence. It has never been a real issue and the neighborhood is becoming safer with every new development that goes up in an empty lot. "
  • Trulia User
"The Madision Valley area has continued to improve over the 10 years I've watched it and with recent new resturant additions, all kinds of parks, and being a mile from downtown, there a few places as desireable to be in my opinioon."
