6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTotally disagree! Emerald ridge is awful!!! I've had 3 kids go to ER and there is clicks, fights, bullying, vehicle vandelism, drugs, and no control couple with a lousey education. One child attended Rogers, freindly , welcoming and inviting! Smaller and much more family oriented!!! DONE WITH ER!!!Parent Review9y ago - Doris Stahl Junior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would honestly objectively give this school a 2/5. But I decided to have it as a 3/5, the reasons are that every students experience differ from mine. I am a 9th grader ready to graduate next semester, and I have a lot of good moments during my 3 years in junior high. Was is all great? Heck no! These were some of my lowest points in my life! But I pulled through, and I enjoyed my time making new (but few) friends, and my time with grades have been decent. I don't think this is the best place for people with any learning problems whatsoever, they will just have a harder time with what they are given. If you want to have a school where your student will grow as a person and learn the most amount? No, there are plenty of other schools that do far better than that, especially in the Puyallup school district. But if you live close to Stahl, or do not have any other option. It is a decent school, not one which many will have a lot of fond memories, but definitely be enough to get them into high school. These are just my experiences as a B-A student, and my perspective may be totally different from someone else. So take my words as you will, and go to the school that best fits any student.Student Review5y ago - Emma L Carson Elementary School
