Even if you are able to get a 504 plan for your child, good luck getting the teachers to follow it. Teachers are quick to blame students for all issues and administration seems to defend the teachers. Some teachers will treat students poorly if they do not like them. Most students with an learning disabilities are dismissed and ignored. If you try to advance any situation to the district they will stand behind their schools, instead of correcting any issues. I am a full time running start student and due to COVID I never got the chance to interact with this building or with the staff. Today, I went into the building for the first time and my first interaction was with the front desk lady. She was neither welcoming or helpful. I was being very polite and the questions I asked where not difficult. She seemed very irritated and aggravated that I was even there. Don't get a job that involves helping if you don't want to. On the other hand the counseling office helped me more than she ever could, and my questions weren't even related to counseling. "South hill is a very pleasant area to raise your family but the closer you are to downtown the worse it is. It is better to be up on the hill and the closer you are to Graham the better. "

"farmers market, music events, Washington state fair, classic car show, good and clean restaurants. walking parks, bicycle race and motorcycles come thru town. fireworks shows and unity in decorating houses and town. I don't know what else"
