5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children have attended Manchester Elementary. The entire staff at this school are dedicated to helping students succeed. My son, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder, was welcomed and encouraged daily by everyone working there. The teachers, office staff, recess and lunchroom staff are all compassionate, knowledgeable and enthusiastic people. The principal goes above and beyond for her students and it shows in the entire environment in the building. My children have loved their time at this school. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a dropout factory. The district changes standards for graduation every other year making nearly impossible to graduate. Kids are harassed by the schools security guards who are heavy handed cornering kids in bathrooms and doing inappropriate searches even against district policy. My son was threatened by another student and the district did an investigation than damaged the police’s investigation which caused then perp to go in punished. "I always see people walking their dogs. There is a dog park about 2 miles away too. Down at Manchester park there are doggy bags available for clean up by the rainwater sculpture. "

"My commute to Navy Base Bangor takes about 30 to 45 minutes depending on time of day. I hit a little slow down in Gorst but otherwise it is a pleasant drive in beautiful country."
