7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOver paid staff with below average students. This is the worst school in the Tumwater district. The new principal is so loud without saying anything, the office staff can’t even bother to smile (I think their face will crack). The test scores speak for themselves. 8th graders will not be prepared for high school, these teachers hand out packets and collect a check. They spend more time trying to control the parking lot than they do a curriculum. I’m so happy I only have 4 1/2 months left dealing with TMS.Parent Review6mo ago7 Reviews - Tumwater Hill Elementary School

"There are many street people and the bars are loud. It doesn’t feel very clean or safe. There is also quite a bite of vandalism and graffiti and the police do not even come out for that. I love my apartment and the view, but it is not easy to live downtown."
