8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a senior here and this place truly is struggling. Its practically falling apart in some places, budget on classes is falling so low next year there wont be as many electives anymore, they cant afford to keep a lot of the teachers. they only have ONE men's bathroom open all the time for all the students and continue to close every other bathroom for boys only.... Not only is there one bathroom but there is one toilet and its absolutely disgusting no one dares to use it, I have to go to the nurses office and use the bathroom in there if I have to go. The staff here is pretty alright but there is a lot of impatient, tyrant like teachers here that make life incredibly hard, not allowing kids to have alternative ways of learning and refuses to apply a students preferred learning style. There's a couple homophobic and far conservative teachers here that push their own beliefs on students. There are so many little loopholes that allow the school to collect money from you which is not okay. Instead of getting detention, suspension or expulsion for vaping in the bathroom, they will make you pay a 200 dollar fine that will not let you graduate until you pay it. This place stinks.Student Review4mo ago - Mill Creek Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA top quality school for academics. Highly Capable classes are offered beginning in 2nd grade!! Teachers do a great job meeting children where they are, be it advanced and ahead of the class or behind and needing extra instruction/encouragement. Like Heatherwood and Gateway middle schools, Mill Creek Elementary addresses diversity and minority issues comprehensively and empathetically. Having spent a great deal of time observing interactions between children during recess for all grade levels, I can say they’ve integrated well with each other. If I could make a suggestion however, it would be to teach kindness and improve character development opportunities, like require participation in team sports. Offer team golf, tennis, and swimming to help kids keep themselves centered.Parent Review5mo ago - Heatherwood Middle School

"nice trail to walk your dogs behind some neighborhoods b towards town center. At the start is McCollum Park."

"There is a mix of apartments and houses. I’ve lived here for over a year and it’s a beautiful area but the houses are very close together and the apartments are pretty crammed. The area is a bit expensive and there is more construction happening each week. It feels very city-like and it’s becoming a bit excessive. Fourth of July is horrendous with the fireworks even though there are hundreds of thousands of trees around. Just too many people."

"Very respectable neighborhood. Don’t expect to on first named terms with many neighbors, or a friendly chat at the local store or even a ‘hi there’ on an evening walk from the couple across the road. It’s clean and tidy apart from rabbits and their droppings and very quiet. "

"I recently moved to Mill Creek with my new wife and we couldn't be more pleased. If you are younger or older there is always activities to be had. From golf to walking the town center. There are many groceries and 5 star restaurants close by. For you that have children it is extremely safe with an outstanding school district. "

"Mill Creek Community Association is a one of a kind planned community that provides beautiful parks, walking trails, nature preserves, meandering golf courses, and within 1.2 miles of multiple shops, restaurants, sports parks, indoor swimming club, and upscale grocery stores (Central Market), medical facilities including hospital, plus a lovely downtown area where you can find multiple banks, outdoor pavilions, and multiple Starbuck coffee shops. The City of Mill Creek must be experienced in order to understand what a wonderful place it is in which to live."
