"I’ve lived here over 30 years. The location is great, being able to access the Eastside, and Seattle/Everett without a toll bridge. The cluster housing (Apartments, McMansions, etc.) has made getting anywhere a headache most of the time, so we’re planning to move in the near future."

"I just moved to this neighborhood 4 months ago and I have loved every second of it. It is close by to Saint Edward State Park where I can walk my dog along beautiful scenic trails, It is close to grocery stores and a bus line that takes me straight to downtown Seattle where I work. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and I feel very at peace being here. "

"We stumbled across Kenmore about 10 years ago and bought a house here--it's only gotten better with time and the City Council seems to be making better progress in the last year with the Economy on the upswing with improvements, breaking ground on the downtown development, and through the purchasing and upgrading of the parks. The local elementary schools are all excellent (don't believe the ridiculous greatschools.org ratings!) and the walkability is wonderful. LOVE the fact that we are never held hostage to I5 or 405 since we can go either way, and love that we dodge bridges entirely! Within 20 min we are downtown from the park & ride. It could use more restaurants and some serious help with beautifying the Bothell Way corridor, but otherwise it's great. The down to earth neighbors, great schools, fabulous parks, and easy access to downtown, ferries, and the Burke-Gilman make it a winner!"

"Lived here in 2008 and it is by far the worst place I have ever lived!!!! I had a very large man that lived above me with 2 little dogs that he was too fat to get down the stairs so he would let them poop and pee in front of my door and all over and never picked it up! Complained several times to management but nothing was ever done. Kids were allowed to run free throughout the complex at all hours of the day and night and would wreak havoc. Neighbors fighting at all hours of the night over stupid stuff. Drug dealers and whores everywhere and would deal in broad daylight. Cops were called several times a day because of drug deals, fighting, child abuse, and everything else you could think of. My mail box got broken into several times! There was a very annoying young girl who lived below me that was very nosey and would always try to be involved in everyones business (I also think her dad is a child molester too!) My apartment had black mold in the bathroom and it took them a week to fix the problem. The was water leaking from the apartment above me into my bathroom and kitchen and they just patched it and painted over it and never fixed the leak. I had black mold in all of my windows and it was just a nasty place to live! When we first looked at the apartment it smelled of animal urine so bad and they were just gonna clean the carpets and my child was crawling age when we moved in. They didn't replace it until I threatened to call the health department (we didn't move in until the carpet was replaced) Dog poop everywhere and if you don't watch your step you will step in it. Not worth the amount rent is... Would not recommend this to anyone ever especially if you have children!"
