4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll 3 of my daughters have attended and graduated from this school. They all took AP classes and were part of the dual enrollment and early college program, while working part time jobs. They participated in school activities and sports and were always respected and treated fairly by students and staff. All 3 of my daughters are biracial and had all the same opportunities as everyone else, their GPA’s were 3.97, 3.89, 3.8. The school sends out family bulletins, emails and text messages to keep parents up to date and involved. The school is safe and clean (although could use more supervision over Vape use in the bathrooms)Overall this is a top notch school, I wouldn’t blame a school. For test grades, the kids need to be held accountable at home and put in the work.Parent Review7mo ago - Matthew Whaley Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough great things about this school, teachers, staff, parents, PTA and students! My children attended for two years and we had such an excellent experience. We were truly sad to leave all these great people. The teachers really make this school special! From special trips to CW, the strawberry festival and special musical programs this school has it all! They all put so much work into making this a special place! 5 stars for MWES!!Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 116 Brockton Ct.

"The area has a great holiday spirit, nobody is too neighborly per se, but people do check on each other. During the holidays ie. Christmas time a lot of the people here decorate their houses and people drive around and look at the holiday lights. Also, during Halloween a lot of the kids go and trick-or-treat together."

"Williamsburg is exciting not because of what it *is*, but because of what it is *going to* be, or what it *could* be. Lots of southern passive aggression, but also lots of truly friendly, laid back people. Look for the city to get younger and younger as the "college town" infrastructure continues to expand."

"I’m not a dog owner, so I really can’t say. There’s not a lot of grassy area and several owners don’t want dogs on their property at all, but there are several dogs in the neighborhood. "

"We don't own any dogs but there are plenty around the neighborhood. Most, if not all, dog owners pick up after their dog. Not sure about leash rules but everyone seems to abide by a leash. Close access to Colonial Williamsburg which seems to be the spot to walk your dog and look at the history. "
