6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of my kids suffered racism from 6th grade assistant principal He was never kind or understandable with my son I’m not sure if he still working there, but I hope that this never happen to another kid. This kids are just growing and understanding life and they need good role models specially where they spend most of their time. I’m glad that the main principle doesn’t work there anymore, Because he never did anything about it.Parent Review4y ago - Thalia Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile it has been difficult for schools to figure out how to come back stronger and better after the pandemic Thalia Elementary has done it! They deal with the behavioral problems that were exasperated by the mandated closure and virtual schooling and really put their heart and soul into teaching our kiddos. My kids have had a great education at this school. Each teacher, specialist and admin is there for the right reason and teach with their hearts everyday. We have been blessed to be at this school.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 277 Cottage Hill Ln.

"Usually easy. Traffic builds on Bonney and rosemont, but getting to and from everywhere is quick cause the freeway is so close. A grocery store was a couple of blocks away till it closed, but I saw them building an Aldi’s. It’s just a matter of time before a nice grocery store is in our neighborhood. The nearest shopping area has one of the better Mexican food restaurants in Virginia Beach, as well as the tastiest Puerto Rican and Dominican fusion restaurant. Both places are especially friendly to new guests. "

"Pool and playground for kids that’s about it. They need more things for kids so they stay out of trouble "
